Force-feeding us Penn and Teller in this issue made about as much sense as Deadpool shaking hands with Alf or the Kool-Aid Man. In fact, the latter might have been even more enjoyable. That being said, I don't actually think Penn Jillette is a bad comic book writer, per se, especially given that it's his first Marvel effort; he just needs something that isn't so self-indulgent to show off his chops (and an editor to tell him “No,” when he decides to actually *be* in the comic he's writing). I started this, convinced I wasn't going to like it, briefly thought "Well, it could be OK, this seems fun," but by the finish couldn't wait for it to end...

[ART: 7.5 | STORY: 4 | WRITING: 2.5 | TOTAL: 4.6 (~4.5)] I was really wanting this to end halfway through. Just as the main story started to intrigue me again, another guest issue plagued my interest. I found the humour to be severely lacking and it didn't help that it was submerged within a weak concept. At least the art was alright.
