Mar 09, 2018Kelly Thompson, Leonardo Romero, and Jordie Bellaire pull out all the cool archery move/surprise superpower/generally badass stops in Hawkeye #16, which reads like the third act of a particularly thrilling buddy action movie. However, it's not entirely caught up in the cool, and Kate finds a little bit of closure with her whole supervillain dad/dead (Or not so dead) mom situation thanks to the help of her new friends in L.A.Kate Bishop, thebest Hawkeye,might not have the best life, but she does have a pretty good one. I will miss this book very much. I am not even sure why I started reading it, but I am very glad that I did. The art in this series has been some of my eyes' favorite things to look at. Thompson did a great job of making Kate an enjoyable character and I also liked adding Clint towards the end. To the creators of this book, thank you for a great year of reading material.

One of my favourite series from one of my favourite writers has finally ended. I am going to miss those two Hawkeyes fighting side by side, very much. Kate Bishop is my favourite character from the so called 'SJW MARVEL ERA'. It is really sad for me to see this end. Well for now though. Because at the end of this book there is a tease of it coming back. Yes!!! This series is one of those series in where you dont care if there is an action or not but all u want to see is your favourite characters having an exchange or talk or have a downtime. As always Kelly 'Kate Eye' Thompson does a great job of writing this action packed and emotional issue. Well, the reveal at the end didnt hit me that much with a suprise. Not sure whether it w more

A basic (though wonderfully entertaining) triumph over Eden and Masque turns into something bigger. The end of the series forces the creators to jam a few long-term plot points into the finale. It's a good read overall, but at least two developments are clearly included here because there's no more space to address them later. They don't clash but they don't quite blend. The visuals are particularly great. It's a word-heavy script, but to keep things from getting boring, the layouts are a little extra inventive. There's more detail than usual, too.
