Spirits of Vengeance is a unique book within the current Marvel catalog. The story, artistic design, and colorful display hit all the right marks. If youre a fan of the supernatural genre and enjoy religious iconography and themes, this is the book for you. Read Full Review

DC said if Marvel isn't going to make Fantastic Four comics, we will with The Terrifics. Marvel says if DC isn't going to do a proper Justice League Dark, we'll take care of it with Spirits Of Venegance. Read Full Review

A solid follow-up issue that moves just as fast paced as its predecessor but ultimately not enough happens here for me to give it a higher rating. However thats not to say its a bad issue its actually quite the contrary was does happen is exciting and shows promise for the future. Looking forward to issue 3. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson

Spirits of Vengeance #2 isa wild ride into the supernatural corners of the Marvel Universe. The story is starting to pick up steam, and I am really enjoying seeing these lesser-used, more supernatural characters getting the spotlight. While the art is not my favorite style and I feel it does not fit the series, it is not bad art and there are still some great panels, and fans of Ghost Rider will not be disappointedin his action sequences. The main draw here is just getting the characters together and in action, and by the end of Spirits of Vengeance #2, the team has been brought together and they are ready to fight heaven and hell to save the Marvel Universe! While I do still have hopes for how Spirits of Vengeance will continue from here based upon the promising first issue, I cant recommend #2. Its unfocused and cliched. It misuses its great cast by not featuring them enough, and its an all-around disappointment. Give this issue a pass, and you probably wont be too confused by issue three. Read Full Review

I like it. Yes, really ! It's fun, not too dark neither are too complex. That does a good job and with Razen & Necrodamus as opposition(I find them very ridiculous), it's a marvelous job too do a good story. each time Ghost Rider act, I'm like "Wooooo" and I don't like Johnny Blaze. I want to see more of Blade, and I liked how Satanna enter the story ^^ Cover - Nice one 2/2 Writing - 3/3 Arts - I like every character except Razen & Necrodamus. 2/3 Feelings - For now I love it, and will take Issue 3 (That I didn't Solicited the fault to Razen in the cover ... A awful one) 2/2 9/10

Hellstrom lays out this title's stakes in a mix of action and exposition. It's exactly the infodump I needed to get on board. I'm sold on what Victor Gischler's revealed of his plot so far; now I just need to see him put his protagonists to work in a cool way. David Baldeon's art continues to impress with its polish, but his designs feel a little same-y - Satana, Razan, and a lot of supposedly-different demons all look like they were sketched up in one brief jam session.
