I'm a fan of cosmic Marvel stories, but only when they're done right. Speaking as someone who hasn't even read every Annihilation: Scourge book, I loved this one and I have to recommend this to everyone who likes a lot of fun and big action in their comics. This is an easy pick up even if you haven't been reading the series and quite possibly one of the best Beta Ray Bill stories ever. Put it on the list! Read Full Review

Ever wondered why an absurd-looking horse man is so popular? Then snatch up this issue, you get the meat and potatoes of Beta Ray Bill simplified and yet get to start a new journey with the character. Nothing but win here my friends. Read Full Review

Though it reads more like a set-up to the incoming Omega issue, Annihilation Scourge: Beta Ray Bill #1 is a fun solo showing for the cult favorite character. Read Full Review

ANNIHILATION - SCOURGE: BETA RAY BILL #1 feels unnecessary to an event many would argue is unnecessary. An inconsistent tone, thin story, and questionable hero choice hurts what has been a mostly enjoyable little series. For a mini event to work, every tie-in book has to matter, and ANNIHILATION " SCOURGE: BETA RAY BILL #1 just doesnt feel like it does. Read Full Review

Is it an outstanding issue? No, like I mentioned before these one shots are beginning to feel very paint by numbers. Is that a bad thing? Not overly, but holds it back from really standing out for the crowd. Good set up for Annihilation Scourge though, and it was good seeing Beta Ray Bill taking the lead here. Read Full Review

Out of the four one-shots they've done, this one might be the most inconsequential as it feels largely standalone with little connective tissue to the rest. Read Full Review

I really enjoying this whole series. Sentry fits very well in cosmic story.I really want more Sentry.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would, mostly because I don't know the writer and I fear the unknown. But this was fun and frantic, and Sentry was badass. The team up between Beta Ray Bill and Lockjaw works so well, and I'm continually surprised by that. This is turning out to be a good mini-event.

Anything with Beta Ray Bill is a fun read, especially when he's written and drawn this well. Unfortunately, nothing really happens at all the first half of this issue, and it's all just set up for the Omega issue. Still enjoyable, nonetheless

As everybody else has noted, Beta Ray Bill and Lockjaw make a cracking good team. And I like the subtle way the Scourge story is evolving in the background here and in the Silver Surfer issue, with N-Zone folks starting to break into the Positive Zone in both. It does make me wonder about the fight mechanics, though: Bill fought his Revenger in the ordinary universe -- shouldn't that make him unkillable?

I enjoyed this issue because it's really hard not to enjoy Bate Ray Bill but I still thought it was the weakest of the 4 Scourge one shots. I'm looking forward to see how the over powered Sentry gets taken down in the end but with only the Omega issue left I hope it doesn't fail bringing everything together. Other the Bill joining in, there was much story progression here. I'm not going to say this issue was unnecessary because that's one of the laziest, most pretentious things someone reviewing anything can say (further ranting would be unnecessary and you know who you are if you review things that way. Stop it) BUT if you skip this one and go directly into Omega I don't think you'll be very lost. If you're a fan of Beta Ray Bill I thi more

I just enjoy reading a story with well-written Beta Ray Bill, even if the story itself isn't too interesting, ok?
