ORPHANS OF X Part 3
When LAURA KINNEY took on the mantle of THE WOLVERINE she swore off killing.
But does this make up for her past life as a child assassin?
No matter how far she runs, it seems like Laura's past will always catch up. And now it's up to Laura and DAKEN, the son of the original Wolverine, to put that past in the ground.

On Comics Ground - Daniela Mendoza

This is definitely one of the more intense arcs in the amazing series. More is revealed about The Orphans and this took a dark turn. It can definitely get worse for Laura while they're around. The art by Cabal is very vibrant and great as always. Read Full Review

Another mind-blowing and action-packed story from Tom Taylor! Taylor has been consistently writing the book very well and for this issue was able to balance the character development, plot and very entertaining action scenes. Especially added with Cabal's beautiful art and very entertaining paneling. We have another top-quality book that deserves all the recognition. Read Full Review

This series has received a real shot in the arm with Marvel Legacy. Part of that simply boils down to the change in artist. Juan Cabal's dynamic, expressive style gives All-New Wolverine a sense of energy it's been lacking lately. Read Full Review

All-New Wolverine should no longer be a hidden Marvel gem. This is one of the strongest superhero titles in general and should be a huge hit. Tom Taylor and company will start getting more Marvel duties soon, and for good reason. Read Full Review

Though I suspect next issue will be a better read, All-New Wolverine #27 was a bit of a letdown. Little in the way of plot progression or excitement result in a rather dull read which the decent artwork cant save. Ive liked the series for the most part, but this issue leaves a lot to be desired. I cant quite recommend this one. Give it a pass and come back next issue. Read Full Review

Although I don't agree with Taylor's portrayal of Daken, he still writes Laura and Gabby perfectly and this issue had a great twist. I really hope that when Logan eventually comes back Laura will still have her own place in the Marvel Universe.

This issue is used to catch a breath and get caught up on the plot that we were picking up to this point. The Orphan's of X (OoX) are exactly as they claim in their name, people that are effected by the killings of Logan (although why refer to him as X?). We also get a little more clarification on the return of Laura's mother. The reveal creating my most shocking moment with Daken's reaction to her. We also get an idea of what the plan of the OoX is. I am enjoying the dialog and the action of the story arc. I still have had trouble seeing the OoX as a truly frightening antagonist for the heroes. I think the biggest problem for the group is having no central figures that represent a threat. Instead we have the collection of guards used as o more

The Orphans of X at last have their Deal explained: They're surviving relatives of the folks Wolverine and his descendants have killed, and they're nursing a mighty grudge. Solid art and a rational plot can't quite overcome the cold, clinical way the characters are presented here. Everyone is too much an actor on a stage, going through the motions because the plot demands "X" regardless of how they might feel if examined more humanely. The Orphans are a little too straightforward and the conclusion of this arc - duh, Laura's gonna wind up hugging it out and defusing this conflict diplomatically - is a little too obvious.

Ok that was weird ... I kind of feel like that was a little unnecessary. Too slow, too heavy, too fighting for what ? That's the first Taylor's Arc I didn't like on Wolverine ... And I really liked the one with the Gardians (I despise this version of the Guardians. Not mine, and though I liked the first movie. Like what ! ^^ ) It's feel weird to see the leader of the orphan with a kind of Cerebro, and to see Captain Marvel have her as kick that fast. Cover - I will be honest. I not like it at all. 0/2 Writing - First time for everything, sorry Mr Tyler because I trust you do what you can & believe to be your best for us. But this one wasn't for me 1/3 (Thanks to gabby tea proposition). Arts - And for add to the thing I don't like Cab more

As almost all of us had already predicted ever since the beggining of this. Nothing new or surprising here. No emotional impact, everything happening far too fast. Also, the Cap Marvel addition feels forced.
