Deadpool vs. Thanos #4

This issue strikes a nice balance between humor and drama. There's fun to be had as Deadpool makes googly eyes at Death and further antagonizes Thanos. There's even a pretty darned good "That's what she said joke" here. But Tim Seeley isn't afraid to get deep as he further fleshes out the unlikely connections between the two leads and waxes philosophical on the importance of death to the course of life. As the mystery of Death's disappearance is answered, we see Deadpool and Thanos gain the power of death to take on Death's kidnapper. As the story draws to a close we are diving into the action. The team of Deadpool and Thanos seems a way better team than what I would have thought first going in to the series and I enjoyed it's conclusion.

So #3 isn't listed on ComicBookRoundup; it was pretty good but I still don't understand the inclusion of Blackheart. As for this issue, it is the best of the four. It has a satisfying and slightly though provoking conclusion while still maintaining laughs (though not as funny as previous issues).
