But Why Tho? - Aaron Phillips

Overall, this was a thrilling issue to start up a brand new plot. After 26 issues, I am still highly invested into wanting to see where this all ends up. Venom is still alive and kicking, and you won't want to get caught sleeping on this issue! Read Full Review

This is another solid issue in a thoroughly entertaining series. And it looks like things will only ramp up from here, because the King in Black is coming. But for now, Venom has a Virus to defeatand Ill bet you $3.99 (plus tax) that he does it while wearing a mask. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Nick Devonald

It feels like Cates’ is concluding a number of his earlier storylines and mysteries while getting ready for what is coming, namely Knulls arrival later this year. It features the introduction of Virus, who promises to be an interesting villain for Brock to face off with. And, as is becoming tradition, the cliff-hanger ending manages to exceed our expectations and raise the stakes from the previous one, leaving readers desperate for the concluding chapter. Donny Cates is symbiote royalty. What he continues to with Venom and Eddie is truly remarkable and makes one of the more solid books from the Big 2. Venom #26 is far from a bad book, it just has a weird feel to it and thats okay. In Cates We Trust. Read Full Review

    Horror DNA - James Ferguson

"Venom Beyond" is shaping up to be a pretty big deal. That's saying something considering how many big deals this series has already delivered. This book continues to go in new and interesting directions that are still just as creepy as ever. The stakes are raised now with Dylan's involvement. For perhaps the first time ever, Eddie Brock has something to fight for, and more importantly, something to live for. This changes the game entirely, making things considerably scarier. This is a good issue if you're looking for some superhero tropes that are surprising and satisfying. The issue isn't a knock out per se, but I enjoyed a decent amount of chunks in its pages. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - David Pepose

    Jul 21, 2020

While not the punchiest issue this series has had to date, it's a testament to Venom's creative team that even a lower-key installment still brings a strong level of talent to the field. While the introduction of Virus might not be as high-octane as some readers might have hoped, Venom #26 still brings the heat with some truly engaging artwork, and remains a relatively accessible jumping-on point for anyone interested in the series. This gets me super pumped for Venom Beyond. I'm really excited to see the Ultimate Universe again (and not just have it be a throwaway scene from Bendis' last comic). If I had to guess about the ending, I think they may be in the 2099 universe/future. It looks like 2099, and if you read the most recent iteration of Venom 2099, Knull was there. Virus is probably the least interesting part of this arc for me, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested. I just don't know who he is or his motivations. I'm sure future issues and the FCBD issue will clue me in. Until then, though, this was really dope.

Cates was losing me in the Venom Island story arc, however this issue pulls me right back in.

I like where this is going! Alternate Universes are always fun but for me the fact that the Ultimates is so tied into this was just awesome. Virus seems cool, his intro felt stale for me though. Still great issue with great art.

Wow, that was unexpected. This is a totally different direction than what I was expecting for this book. I suppose it should have been obvious given the Maker's involvement in the overall plot, but still it is fun to see the Ultimate Universe back in a big way. My only gripe with this issue is the last 2 pages have some of the most rushed and worst art I've seen in a while. You can barely make out what the city is supposed to look like.

Eddie tries to tap the Maker to learn more about Dylan's symbiote, but the nut in the "War Venom" armor attacks and knocks everybody through the Maker's new dimensional gate. Solid words and art are used to convey absolutely fascinating ideas. This issue *really* makes me eager to see the next.

The Virus character is pretty sick and the production of the book is as well. Cates writing doesn't disappoint although it is an incredibly quick read.

Eddie'nin nasıl yumruk yediğini görmek more
