The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally

Patch Zircher delivers some amazing visuals in this issue. I loved one of the sequences in the beginning of the issue where he contrasts the brutal action of the Elektra fight with the unseen Conan fight in the next sequence. Truly impressive art throughout the issue. Read Full Review

Though a bit scattered, Savage Avengers #7 is a solid continuation in an already stellar series, bringing in the most dangerous characters of the Marvel Universe for a truly exciting story! Read Full Review

While I was skeptical about the hype surrounding this comic I've come to find that the book deserves most of the praise. While I still have a hard time accepting Conan into regular Marvel continuity, that is my own shortcoming. The story being told here is compelling, full of action and worth a read if you enjoy more traditional superhero tales. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Branden Murray

    Nov 06, 2019

Overall, Savage Avengers continues to play the long game with its cast and it's a quest to take down Kulan Gath. The connections to the wider Marvel Universe are starting to show themselves, and with the puzzle starting to take shape, I find this simply to be a story I unapologetically enjoy for many reasons. Path Zircher and Java Tartaglia take over the art duties here and do a great job of continuing to give this book a great looking action-centric feel picking right up where Deodato left off. While its not overly new reader/lapsed reader-friendly, if this is a ride you've been on, there is plenty to enjoy again this month. Read Full Review

    ComicBook.com - Matthew Aguilar

Some artists are simply born to draw certain characters, and evidently, for artist Patch Zircher and colorist Java Tartaglia, that character is Shuma-Gorath. Seriously, their take on the villainous entity is all sorts of disturbing, but then again that's how it should be, so it's certainly a job well done. Read Full Review

I actually liked this issue. The story with Voodoo and Gath, Elektra and Strange as well as Conan and Doom was very interesting. It's difficult to have all the characters to just suddenly meet up again. Hopefully this continues but this series is still on a short leash.

Savage Avengers definitely is a fast issue, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Elektra searches for Doctor Voodoo's brother Daniel, which she promised to do a couple issues back while she gives information to Stephen Strange on what happened with Voodoo and Kulan Gath. Meanwhile, Voodoo confronts Gath in a secret pocket dimension. After Conan's misadventure in Brazil, he was then kidnapped to Latveria where he meets Doctor Doom for lunch! But seriously though, Doom is like in every comic these days. Anyways great knowledge of continuity by Duggan and I loved the art

This series is what it is. Solid, non-thinking, straight-forward, action. Zircher is a marked improvement in the art from #6. Notable the Elektra/Strange exchange.

I think each issue so far has been stellar. Beautiful art, Interesting story, and entertaining dialog. My only gripe is that I don't really know who exactly is on the team anymore. This issue has Electra, Doctor Voodoo, and Conan. Last Issue had Punisher and Conan. The annual had Hellstorm, Black Widow, and Conan. I feel like the actual title of this series should be "Conan and the Random Marvel Characters He Bumps Into."

I grew to look forward to the new issues of this book, even if some of them seem quite pointless, just like this one was. Last issue was very filler-ish, there's not need for two of them in a row. At least they're teasing something coming out of this.

Its a little better than previous issues but I feel like it could be better. I enjoy the art and the story is pretty good in this one.

Okay I care so little about the Kulan Gath plot, but I am incredibly here for Conan and Doom, BFFFFs forever.

This really should have been a mini series because after the team went their ways, the book hasn't been the same. Art is pretty good good, the dialogue also pretty good but it's a shame we don't get the whole team in an issue anymore.
