Personally while I enjoy Absolute Wonder Woman more, I can see why people say this is the definitive Wonder Woman series. It does feel dated with a lot of fexposition, but this is a comic book that any comic fan, regardless if you're fan of Marvel or DC, should read.

If you told me Jason Aaron would make Absolute Superman my favorite absolute series coming out of the Absolute line-up, over Scott Snyder, I would have called you insane. But his writing, dialogue, and the art from Juan Ferrerya makes this series an absolute win.

This was a really strong conclusion to this series. I like Joshua williamson's writing for Bruce Wayne/Batman overall. I intend to buy the dC KO omnibus, and I hope this series is also colllected into that alongside DC KO main event

While I personally prefer the first crossover in Kelly Thompson's Wonder Woman run, this was still a very solid and emotional issue. I would love to see Scott Snyder one day tackle writing Wonder Woman in the main run

It's insane on how after Matt Fraction's run on Iron Man, Joshua Williamson finally revitalized my interest in Iron Man. Carmen Camero's art and the coloring really pop out and shine in this issue. After mid series where Tony Stark is boring or uninteresting (like Gerry Duggan, Christopher Cantwell), we finally get some fresh new blood and energy into this series.

This is so much better than Tom King's run. Instead of reading dry expositional dialogue from the Bible, it is actually readable. It's not as good as Greg Rucka, George Perez or even william messner loebs run. But it is at least entertaining, and it does not bore me.

this was a bit underwhelming compared to Rick Remender, Garth Ennis and Greg Rucka's run. Let's hope the run after this is good. I could barely remember what was going on, except Punisher trying to fight a power vacuum

Even though the art isn't as good as Dexter Soy, the pacing, and writing for Nightwing, Oracle and Martian Manhunter is solid. I just realize that this is one of the first few times Dick Grayson talks to Martian Manhunter

It's clear to see how much DCEU Wonder Woman takes a lot of inspiration in this run

Charles Soule is personally my favorite Star Wars writer of all time. this is yet another banger of a series

This was surprisingly the issue that was easy to read the most. I like the fights on how it's just full on action, and the creative teamwork. I also like Scott Snyder's writing for the characters, he is not butchering them. I am excited to see how the next issue plays out.

This was a really great mini-series that anyone should read. I can see why people said this was the best series of 2025.

Usually after a climatic battle, the aftermath issue is a little boring and quiet. Yet somehow, Jason Aaron manages to keep up the momentum with strong internal dialogue with Absolute clark Kent. and Juan Ferrereya's art is supremely beautiful, and it is worthy for our Favorite Boy-scout. This series is super-amazing in my opinion.

Jorge Jiminez art is consistently up to par with his other works, and honestly I love seeing Batman be a detective and kicking butt. But it's been a while since I actually enjoyed reading a Bruce Wayne-centric issue. I am curious on how Bruce is going to handle with the aftermath of this issue.

It's okay, but it didn't feel as. climatic and important. The art leaves a lot to be desired

This was my favorite out of all the DC Ko issues. Don't get me wrong, they're all fun but I like Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson's writing for Red Hood and Joker, and how Red hood gets over what the Joker did to him

This is another knockout issue for Kelly Thompson's run. Hayden Sherman has slowly been my top 3 favorite artists of 2020s. I love the coloring, and I love Kelly Thompson's writing for Batman. I am interested to see how Scott Snyder will write Absolute Wonder Woman

this is a series that I will definitely be buying and reading over trade. What a great Christmas present for me. I love the art, and detective aspects of this story.

Favorite Absolute series of the bunch. I just love Rafal Sandoval's art for this series, and the coloring as well as shading works. I like how Jason Aaron takes Clark Kent back to his roots as a champion for the oppressors similar to Silver Age and Grant Morrison's Action Comics. I love the action, and the writing for the Al Ghuls. This series hits even harder after re-reading it and it was a gut punch seeing the fate of Martha Kent. I am excited for the future of Absolute DC Universe

Jeremy Adams has been firing on all cylinders. I think this is my third favorite Hal Jordan run, right behind Robert Venditti's Hal Jordan and Green Lantern corps run as well as Geoff Johns. I like his voice on Batman and Hal Jordan, and why Hal Jordan is fearless. Also, Carmine Di Giandomenico art works really well with this story

don't put out perfect scores. But I think this is my definitive Green Arrow run. Yes, I love Joshua Williamson's run on Green arrow. he's one of my favorite writers of all time. But Chris Condon surpassed my expectations, and I love his writing for Oliver Queen. It's a shame that this run was so short, but it ended on a high note. This is just a standalone story, but this is a run that I will be re-reading multiple times. I sometimes mourn and wonder what would happen if Chris Condon continued his Green Arrow run like how Jeremy Adams was supposed to continue. But I'm glad this run end on a high note.

A pleasant blast to read. It's very clear that this book takes a lot of homage and inspiration from Grant Morrison's all Star Superman, from There's always a way to the way Kal-Elf appears similar to one of the covers of All Star Superman books. But it still stands out on it's own, and somehow goes even more wackier and crazier. It's definitely one of the best Superman stories of all time, and arguably the best modern Superman story of all time.

This so far has been my favorite Jeff Lemire series of the 2020s.

it's kind of strange on how Ultimate Wolverine has been my favorite series to come out the bunch. It's not mind blowing, but it is entertaining and the one I remember the most.

Supergirl has been the most surprising comic book series I read this year, and for good reason as well. DCU Supergirl film has a lot to live up to when comparing that movie to this series

While this issue was certainly a lot better, I think this issue just feels..... hollow. This whole series just feels so rushed. I don't know if the Ultimate Universe from Marvel will continue after ultimate Endgame, but what hurt this series was how it was dead set on 24 issues. Hickman introduced so many plot points that I don't feel any connection to this Uncle ben, J Jonah Jameson, Mary Jane, Peter's daughter, Gwen and Hary Osborn. ESPECIALLY Peter Parker. The only reason why people like this Ultimate Peter Parker is because he was created alongside Zeb wells run on Peter Parker, so people tend to be defensive. hickman was facing an uphill battle when he only had 24 issues to write Spider-Man, and as a result we don't really get to see Peter's progress as a fighter. It happens off-screen, so when he says that he's more skilled at fighting Kingpin, I don't believe it because it's not shown. We are shown how Peter can swing better, but it's crazy how so many important moments happen off-screen, and we just have to infer. like with Mister Negative persuading Peter to not fight. I legitimately did not know why until I re-read Issue 21, and Mister Negative killed this Ultimate Purple Man/Kilgrave, and it's not said at all. I literally had to guess, and I know Hickman knows his readers aren't dumb. But he should still have better execution and a great writer would leave some bed crumbs or slight hints, not just have the audience guess in teh dark. I didn't know that Mister Negative caused 5 individuals to fuse into one Mysterio until I read the recap summary. I also didn't know that Mister Negative somehow knows Peter's background because he killed Mr. Wesley.... but like I said in the previous issues it didn't really hint at it very well. Overall, I know I said i was going to drop it. But it's the second to last issue, and I wanted to see if I would be proven wrong. Adn while the issue at LEAST finally didn't have a time skip and skip this moment, I was still feeling meh with this issue. Which again is a shame. Because while Hickman's the best Modern Marvel writer, there's a reason why I haven't been a huge fan of him compared to other writers like Geoff Johns or Alan Moore, or even Scott Snyder for crying out loud. Hickman has cool concepts, but barely any character. the character moments happen between the issues, and for a min I thought we were going to get a family Spidey story. But turns out it's a conspiracy theory with the man in high castle.... that just so happens to feature Spider-Man

I thought Jason Aaron would continue TMNT, but I was wrong. But to my surprise, Gene Luen Yang picks up Jason Aaron's pace and I am shocked on how intrigued and interesting this is. I like Gene Luen Yang's writing for the Turtles, and the art gives me flashback to Batman/TMNT crossover since it's the same writer. Overall, I'm happy to say I'm still very excited and interested to see how this will all unfold.

Jock's art hits a lot harder thanks to the coloring, and while I can kind of piece together the origin of Joker using corpses of orphans to become this Dark Souls demon, it still works even with Scott Snyder's exposition. But I feel that it's more digestible than his cosmic exposition because it's not using any complex scientific words

This is like someone trying to recapture the magic of Jonathan Hickman's Secret Wars, except Christos Gage does not have the sauce

Time spiders. Linear Men. Branches of the timeline. chrononaut slaughter. slouches a rough beast. these are actual English words, yet Simon spurrier's dialogue makes me roll my eyes. the art is okay, the pacing is wack with somehow Shade is tied in. Overall, there's a reason why Simon spurrier is a HUGE hit or miss in the Flash fandom

Somehow, I like this series more than the main series. And that's because of Joshua Williamson writing and Dan Mora's amazing art

This was a solid ending to this series, and Kely Thompson writing makes this in my opinion the definitive Birds of Prey series

While this is a bit slower with the introduction of the Minotaur as well as Bruce's relationship with his therapist, the writing/dialogue and pacing are firing on all cylinders here. And I still love Jorge Jiminez art on Batman, he is in my opinion the Definitive Batman artist of 2020s.

Re-reading this series, this issue basically solidified my problems with Simon Spurrier's Flash. He likes to introduce high concept meta fiction cosmic horror to The Flash to freshen things up similar to Grant Morrison and Mark Millar. But the dialogue, the wording he uses, these days characters don't talk like normal people who are smart. They talk like higher beings who don't know how humans speak. And it's not the Arc Angles, it's the other characters. Talking in unbroken wave form, fractal foam of all things. Epoch. Convulsions of different multiverses. How time is an ocean, and the boundaries of Force Walls and Light Barriers. There's a reason why when Jeff Lemire tries to introduce high concepts in absolute Flash, it works because even though it seems difficult to understand, it doesn't feel like Jeff Lemire is trying to show how smart he is.

I really like this filler issue of Green Lantern and Green Arrow. Flash is Green Lantern's best friend, and I feel that Flash and Green Arrow in the comics only became friends because of Arrowverse. But I like seeing Hal Jordan and Oliver Queen banter, plus the art and coloring really pops out well

For me, this run was..... okay. It had high moments, but I think the edgy language of people saying f@ggot, and ret@rd cussing so many times in one panel ran its course. I like how it deals with uncomfortable real world subjects like human trafficking, and how just Frank Castle gunning down people won't solve the issue as it's a systemic issue. It shows how someone who lives like Frank Castle will be miserable, and people who are freed will still face trauma. It's just that it didn't hold my attention due to me not being a fan of Garth Ennis writing.

This was very easy to understand and comprehensible even with Omega force and time/cosmic aspects, after re-reading Simon spurrier's Flash.

This is giving me Jeff Lemire Green Arrow vibes on how dark ,gritty and grounded this feels. And I'm all up for it.

This issue felt a lot more focused and easier to understand with all the chaos. I love how in 2025, this is definitely's Superman year, with James Gunn Superman, DC Ko. It's a shame Superman doesn't have a animated show or movie coming out this year for this to truly be Superman's year.

i don't know how, but this fight lived up to the hype. It was brutal, gory, and even though I knew Batman would win based on future solicitions, it was still tense. nick Dragotta's art is astoundingly beautiful and works well with a more "violent" Batman compared to Greg Capullo's "horror" Batman. The pacing and dialogue is alot more digestible compared to Scott Snyder's DC Rebirth runs, and I'm excited to see Joker. The delay was worth it, and there's a reason why this is the most popular DC Absolute Series.

it's nice to see Grant Morrison come back and write not only Batman, but also Cassandra Nova. I also enjoyed the art, as well as Tom Taylor and James Tynion IV's story. This was a good crossover overall.

this is another banger Wally West series. I know this will sound crazy's but I would like to see Jeff Lemire tackle main Flash series. Maybe even try to write a Barry Allen series.

I must be crazy, but this is literally the first Wonder woman issue I actually enjoyed. And it's not just because Daniel Sampere's art, Tom King's writing is also coherent.

This was a surprisingly good series, I think this is my favorite "Doctor Doom" story of all time. Even though it was a little bit c cheesy and the art wasn't my thing, I did like it. I would recommend this event.

This makes All Star superman from Grant Morrison seem so grounded I'm reality. But it's executed really well, and I like Superman creating his own "Bat-mite". I am excited to see how it all ends, and after it ends I will probably read this series in its entirety.

This was a really great series, and again, Stephanie Phillips proved me wrong. I highly recommend people enjoy this as this has interesting abstract concepts yet it's understandable, and the coloring as well as Flaviano's art is amazing.

This story has been delayed for 4 months.... for this. The only thing that is frankly good and consistent is Jim Lee's art. This feels like an alternate Batman or All Star Batman and Robin. Why is he blowing things up? Why are the dialogue and internal dialogue so melodramatic, serious, yet boring? Riddler literally said Nygma Time. Personally, what DC should have done is after Chip Zdarsky's run ended, then they should not have done this story at all and just "cancel" batman until Matt Fractio comes along.

this is what a "filler" or slice of life issue should be like. It should still be written well and made me care about the characters. This is my definitive supergirl series

Never have I rooted for the villains, but Greg Rucka's expert writing makes me want to root for the villains to rob the Justice League

I think what makes this first three issues special and fresh is that Matt Fraction is not trying to deconstruct Batman or break him down. Sure, it's a simple story where Batman and Tim Drake are framed for a crime to commit. But his humor and Jorge Jiminez art as well as Toreu Morey's coloring just makes Gotham seem more bright and colorful. Instead of being dark and purple, Gotham City is bright blue and green, and I actually feel Gotham City as alive. Again, usually Batman is a dark brooding serious hero, but him disappearing behind Harvey and Commissioner Gordon's back, him getting kicked in the balls by Damiain Wayne doesn't make me roll my eyes. Matt Fraction's writing is executed well here, and it's nice to feel Matt Fraction's earnest and hopeful Batman. While it's nice seeing Batman be at his lowest point and rise, I want to preface that we had that Tom King, James Tynion IV, and Chip Zdarsky. Almost 3 runs back to back (Joshua Williamson's Batman was still solid, but it was a placeholder) had the same concept, so it just feels way better seeing a different story (unless Matt Fraction drops the ball in the future). Also, I love how Jorge Jiminez has slowly been evolving as the definitive Batman artist of 2020s. His work on Matt Fraction, Chip Zdarsky and James Tynion IV feel and look so different from each other, you can tell which artist is who.

Al Ewing is not my preferred writer sometimes, but this series rocks hard. I like the writing for sojourner Mullien, this is the first time in a while ever since Far Sector that I got attached to the character

Honestly, I always get pleasantly surprised with Jason Aaron every time a new issue picks up. I like the fights, Rafal Sandaval's art, the coloring, and just the writing for Superman, Lois Lane, and Jimy Olsen. I think re-reading this from the beginning will have me appreciate it even more

It's strange on how much better and cohesive this story was compared to H2SH. While this was not on the same level as The Last Halloween and Dark Victory, this was still a very solid and strong conclusion to the trilogy. The rotating artists did not bother me, even with Batman being meaner, it didn't bother me as much. Jeph Loeb clearly showed that he enjoyed and really wanted to write this story well. And shout out to Tim Sale as well

Seeing batman beat up white supremacists automatically give this a perfect score. The art, action is so dynamic and Darren Warren Johnson is one of my favorite upcoming writers. This is my favorite annual of all time. If people are honestly sensitive and pissed off that Batman is beating up clearly evil people (doesn't matter which race they are), it tells more about them. Howard, I just want to say I dont exactly know how does Darren Warren Johnson have a strange way of showing he loves his country.I guess unlimited illegals is a good thing for every community. Can you show me what page and panel on Batman choking ICE officers?

I thought I submitted this review, but honestly this is a modern classic that I will enjoy re-reading over and appreciating everything. Maybe this series got cancelled because the sales, but a hot take is that I prefer this over Batman/Superman: World's Finest. I don't mean to trash another series to highlight another series, but I just like this series because of the consistent art, coloring, and writing for Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson.

Honestly, Stephanie Philips has not been my go to writer, as her writing isn't up to my standards. HOWEVER, I will give her props on this series. This is her Magnus opus, her best one, and honestly one of the best series of 2020s. I think it's very mature and I like how everything wraps up. Shout out to Stephanie Phillips for proving me wrong, and I highly recommend people reading this.

Holy cow, Mark Waid's writing for the flash feels like a splash of warm water and a breath of fresh air. No more cosmic time mumbo jumbo, and just good old fun Flash writing. It's like Mark Waid never lost his touch after his original Flash run.

I honestly think this is Tom Taylor's best work working on Batman. It is very intriguing, and I love Mikel Janin's art and the colors

What I like about Joshua Williamson isn't just the writing, but also the consistent art. Even when the art switches around from Jamal Campbell to Dan Mora, and Eddy Barrows. This run still rocks hard. And his writing for Superbly Prime is actually my favorite.

I actually did like Jason aaron's Wolverine run, but I think because it was too confusing (just as confusing as Larry Hama) and slightly borig, the final issue falls flat. Overall, it's not a bad run. But compared to Mark Millar, Larry hama, Chris claremont this run is a little lackluster

Jeff Lemire strikes a home run again. I would like to see him tackle Flash if his heart is in it. Good dialogue, writing, and I actually am interested in Absolute Barry Allen. I haven't felt this interested in Barry Allen since Joshua Williamson considering Wally is more interesting while Barry is a bland white toast. But this is what happens when you get a great writer.

this is just a pure entertaining series where readers can have a blast reading Battle Beast wreck shit up. Ryan Ottley's art here works a lot.

it's crazy but reading this up to the penultimate issue, it's insane on how the difference between H2Sh and Last Halloween. Even though this Batman is more meaner, grumpier and brutal. The story and writing and the noir thoughts just work here more. You can tell Jeph Loeb wanted to write the final Halloween story here compared to H2SH.

I know I can't let my feelings get hurt. But this is because I dont believe for a fact that a giant size hulk with a hammer will lose to Godzilla.

Dan Slott writing and Rafael Albquerque's art are growing on me. I thought Dan Slott fell off, but he made me eat my words. I like his writing for Superman and the rest of the characters in this limited series

I know this is a hot take but I actually did enjoy this series. Nic Klein definitely saves the series for me and prevents it for being lackluster

It's official. Dick Grayson has the best game in all of fiction. Which makes sense since he learned from Bruce Wayne. Overall, I like the stand-alone issue. It's cliche but it's executed well thanks to Mark Waid and Mark Russell. Also Lucas Meyer art is a stand-out as usual

If you were to tell me that this series about Krypton the Superego would be one of my favorite to come out of this year, I would have called you crazy and an idiot. How does a dog outpace Batman, Superman, the Absolute Series, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Daredevil? Yet Ryan North made me eat my words. This was a solid series and the definitive Krypton the super dog series in my eyes.

What I loved about this issue is that it wasn't trying to set up a new story unrelated to Daniel Warren Johnson's run. It was a continuation but with a new perspective. It felt fresh and new. Robert Kirkman is best known for Invincible and Walking Dead, and I am excited to see his new take on the Transformers. It will be hard to top Daniel Warren Johnson, but that doesn't need to happen. Robert Kirkman is a good writer so I have faith in him. And also, Jorge Corona/DWJ is the definitive Transformers art, but Dan Mora's art looks so sleek and clean yet it fits well in the narrative

blows my mind on how Supergirl, a character I did not care about that much, is one of my favorite ongoing series right now.

as a first issue of Jason aaron's run on Wolverine, I got to say I miss Jason Aaron's old days. It just really works as a new single issue but I like it.

as the final issue to Mark Millar's wolverine, this was a bit confusing on who this character is. I genuinely dont believe this is Logan, but due to the abstract writing its a bit hard to tell.

Personally, while gorgon is very flat and this still felt like Mark Millar's edgy Wolverine.... i dont know call me crazy but Mark Millar's voice for Wolverine actually works for me. I think this is my personal favorite Wolverine character writing, even with all the edginess and violence. While i think Mark Millar went off the rails with Old Man Logan, I do like his writing for Wolverine's thoughts nad dialogue. This is just fun pure entertainment, and i miss john romita jr's old art.

It took me a while to get it, and while it was slightly confusing, overall I got the hang of it. Scott Snyder works well for me when he's not bogged down by continuity, and he's not trying to be cosmic with Darkseid's heart in Earth and the Alpha/Omega energies. But the issue still works for me personally.

I really like this issue due to Bruce and Damian's relationship on how Damian feels guilty for them prioritizing being a family over being superheroes. Overall, every single Batman and Robin series have been great and consistent. From Grant Morrison to Peter J Tomasi to Joshua Williamson and now this. It's great to read Batman stories that are consistently high quality

This gave me Pre-One More Day vibes from Amazing Spider-Man. It's nice to see JMS tackle this again

This is the first issue in a while that I actually like Batman and Catwoman's relationship for once, and not because they had sex. Nick Dragotta's art works for this series, I like Bruce and Alfred's relationship. Overall, everything in this series just hits the right spots for me, and it shows how Scott Snyder still has creative juice in him. I thought he would leave DC Comics forever because he was burned out in the main continuity, but he still has motivation to put out bangers of stories.

It's nice to get back into this series. Jason fabok art is just astounding

this was solid. While I'm a big fan of superheroes, it's nice to read a comic that isn't about Marvel or DC.

its a shame not many people will know about this series. It's really fun and entertaining so far.

This is in my opinion is the definitive Wolverine story. A lot of people see Wolverine as a cowboy, but I see Wolverine more as a samurai. But each take is totally valid. I just love Chris claremont's writing for Logan. It's very clear that James Mangold took heavy inspiration from Chris Claremont's short stint on Wolverine.

Larry Hama's Wolverine is peak 90s. While it's an anthology issue where each new issue was a different adventure, and it got wacky with Alberto. Overall, I really did appreciate Larry Hama's run based on how crazy it is, as well as the art from Marc silverstri, to Lenil Francis yu, and Texeria. While Larry Hama's voice for Wolverine still doesn't resonate for me (what can I say, Chris claremont's run is my definitive) I still appreciate Larry Hama for taking Wolverine through major changes and challenges Wolverine based on the eccentries and wackiness. So I would definitely reccomend this run.

I know Mark Millar has the reputation of being the edgy violent guy, but I will give him a chance. And so far this debut issue of Wolverine is good. I miss old john Romita Jr's art.

While it is a depressing ending to this run, I want to preface that this was not a dissapointing run. This was a grounded take on Wolverine after Larry Hama's run on Wolverine, and I enjoyed it a lot. Greg Rucka's voice for Wolverine may not be for me, ut I can't deny that this was a solid run and I enjoyed the dark grittiness of it.

I'm a big Joshua Williamson fan, but this issue id not wow me. It was fine and serviceable, but it was a bit confusing for me because Booster Gold was suddenly better, but then I realize this issue took place after the recent Justice League Unlimited and Superman issues, and before DC Ko#1.

This was a more exciting issue compared to the debut with more action. But it also has great characterization for Tim Drake, and I love the chemistry between Tim and Bruce. It seems that DC remembers Dick Grayson as Batman's greatest sidekick, Jason Todd as violent Red Hood, and Damian as Bruce's son. But they dont seem to know what to do with Tim Drake, seeing as he's normal. But that's what makes him special compared to the most talented gymnast, an edgy punk, and a trained assassin. That's what makes him stands out in a good way. Believe it or not, Tim Drake is the reason why Robin was popular in the general audience, not Dick Grayson. I love his fight in the comic, and the crooked cop. This is just harmless fun simple adventure that we seen before, but it's executed well. And Jorge Jiminez's art dazzles me. While it's not as flashy as Zdarsky or James Tynion IV, he is just having fun drawing light-hearted Batman. And I'm all here for it. I also do like Matt Fraction's writing and notes on the Bat-tech. It just hits well for me

Al Ewing is a writer that I dont vibe with. So the fact that I am giving this issue a high score says a lot. I am intrigued on how this goes, and even though it's dialogue heavy it works. The more I read it, the more I find new and interesting things. And Giuseppe caminolli art works for me here.

Coming into this series, I knew not to compare this to Immortal Hulk, seeing as it's completely different. I was aware that Immortal Thor would require a lot of baggage and prior knowledge. I also dont want to compare it to other runs like Jason Aaron, and judge it by itself. Unfortunately, this final issue of this series just doesn't resonate with me. Maybe I'm crazy, but Al Ewing's writing is not for me. I do like the idea of Thor rehabilitating villains and making them worthy, but the pacing, old norse dialogue doesn't resonate with me. I didn't really care about the Roxxon or the side characters for some reason. The art was inconsistent, and I honestly forgot a lot of things in this run. It's not bad, it's fine. But again, perhaps if I re-read this run alongside the second half of Al Ewing's run on Thor it would make sense. But for me, it was just whatever.

I think I said this a bajillion times. But Jason Aaron has won me over. He hasn't lost his talent or was past his prime. He just needed a new motivation and a change of scenery. It's debatable between which Superman series do I prefer, Joshua Williamson's main Superman or Absolute Superman. But besides the tight pacing, interesting story, Rafa Sandoval's art is the scene stealer. I legitimately believe this is his best work, and I just love the coloring. I just love Jason Aaron's writing for other Superman characters on how it's different. it's not cringey or out of character like his back end of Marvel comics. It's unique and fresh. This is why Absolute Superman is personally my favorite out of all the Absolute series.

Leave it to Joshua Williamson on making Superman Prime cool. I love the art, action, dialogue and pacing of this issue. Keep this up Joshua Williamson. his writing for Superman really works for me. And of course Dan Mora's art is superb, arguably the best DC Artist of the 2020s.

Tom Taylor does it again. He puts out a solid issue so far, I like seeing Batman being all detective and grounded in this story.

well this was an unsatisfying ending to this series. I dont think this series was bad, and it was decent. But it's not as memorable as Frank Miller, Brian Michael Bendis, Mark WAid, Charles Soule, and Chip Zdarsky. It was still solid, and I'm happy that Daredevil is consistent. Overall the entire series is a 7 out of 10, but the ending falls flat and felt unfulfilled, even if Matt Murdock and Elektra are together. I dont mind Matt Murdock regaining his memory for Daredevil, but I wished the writing was stronger than usual, the entire storyline of sins kind of fell flat. The art is the saving grace, and perhaps if I re-read the series I can enjoy it.

I am going to make the executive decision to stop reading this book, and basically read the final issue. Jonathan Hickman is a writer that a lot of people love, but I have reservations. It's like after Hickman left his X-Men books, he just doesn't have that spark or hook like Fantastic Four, or Avengers, Secret Warriorsor even his Ultimates. Ultimate Invasion, G.O.D.s, Imperial just don't have that magic in it. Hickman likes to shake up status quo and change things to make sure the characters aren't stagnant. But he also likes decompressed long-running story-telling. He takes some high-level concepts, but he makes it vague sometimes. But he also has really strong character moments with GREAT dialogue that hits home. I bring this up because in Ultimate Spider-Man, he Is so focused on developing the other characters, yet not Peter Parker. And I agree with Afre on how this Peter Parker is so woefully underdeveloped. If there was a person who has never seen the Spider-Verse animated films reading this, I guarantee they would not be attached to this Peter Parker. It's very clear that Hickman loved Peter B Parker in those movies, but at least that movie has strong characterization for Peter Parker in a short amount of time. Even if I can get over how it's just fleshing out the characters and making them attached.... I don't care. The art is not as good, the writing and dialogue don't engage me, and too many things happen off-screen. Last issue Peter and Mary Jane had a date with Harry and Gwen, now Peter is.... fighting with Venom? In one panel? What? J Jonah Jameson and Uncle Ben literally have been investigating Kingpin, and it's briefly mentioned but also the writing isn't good? I don't care about Mister Negative because the writing for it is not as interesting. How is this an Ultimate Spider-Man series, yet Peter Parker barely gets focus. Overall, maybe in 2030 I can appreciate this series. A lot of things are praised retrospectively. But I ask you this. Do you genuinely like this series because of the writing, characters, action, dialogue, pacing, and art? Or did people highly praise this because it was released alongside Zeb Wells Spider-Man.

Overall, Simon Spurrier's Flash is just confusing. This is the confusing, disjointed run I have read in a Flash run. Compare to Mark Waid, Geoff Johns, Joshua Williamson, and Jeremy Adams this lacks focus. Simon Spurrier is a writer that I'm hard to get behind because he likes to get all dense and crazy. I can tell that Simon Spurrier wanted to make a Flash version of Immortal Hulk where he goes all out bat-shiz crazy, but after the fan and critic response you can tell that Simon Spurrier had to be more family friendly and his heart wasn't in it. I appreciate Simon Spurrier for taking risks and not having Wally West be stagnant. But the problem was that the writing, the dialogue, the art was not consistent, the story just felt dry and rambling. It feels that Simon Spurrier is writing the story he wants to write..... but it doesn't work with Wally west. The heavy mathematical and scientific concepts he's weaving in just do not work. Don't really make sense, don't contribute to the story, and are just a hassle to read. Honestly, the only thing about this run that I like is *hot take The new suit. So overall, not horrible. But forgettable.

I was actually surprised by this. Everyone knows that I hated Zeb Wells Spider-Man run, and I had low hopes. But surprisingly the main story was good. I dont think people understand, but it is so surreal seeing Deadpool AND Joker standing next to each other. It just blows my mind on how monumental this is. And I have to give credit, but Zeb Wells writing here actually didn't offend me at all. It was good, and I liked the back up stories. So overall, aside from the coloring I did like this issue. I will give out credit to Zeb Wells, he proved me wrong. He can put out good stories, so I got to acknowledge this.

this was actually a satisfying ending to this series. I had low hopes considering Stephanie Phillips isn't one of my favorites, but got to give credit. It was good.

and this is the penultimate issue of the series. I can't wait to see how it ends. I love Mark Waid's writing for a young Dick Grayson and Bruce Wayne

I just love the origin story for Absolute Riddler, Penguin, Two-Face. I am so excited to see how Batman deals with Bane, and Nick Dragotta's art fits so well in this universe

bland, mediocre, and forgettable with the climax not having me feel anything. The art was also not as good for me as well, and I think after Dan Slott's original Spider-Verse event, Marvel just can't write a good Spider-Verse story anymore.

and thus DWJ's era of Transformers is over. Did it have a couple of bumpy rides? Yes. But every run has them. But was it great and consistent? Absolutely. Plan to re-read this again to appreciate it more. It was so fun and entertaining, and this was my first Transformers series. Congrats to the Image comics, you made me into a Transformer fan. I want to read more Transformers comics now.
