The adventures of Hellboy in Mexico were a period of the character which fascinates me to read, this comic was a really great surprise, that mix of those classic Mexican movies where a wrestler faces to monsters gives a really special touch, I hope that someday Mike Mignola gives us a compendium of the adventures of Red in Mexico with many more adventures, great artists join efforts to give us a great comic that I'm sure many will enjoy as much as I do. Hellboy vs. Lobster Johnson shows us the sillier side of the Mignolaverse. It's not a slapstick comedy, but it shows how it can poke fun at itself. Writers Mike Mignola and Chris Roberson turned in a great tale that uses the best elements of these characters and the crazy world they live in. I would read an ongoing series of Hellboy's adventures in Mexico if this is the kind of thing we'd get. Read Full Review

This is a hilarious read, both in the film and the Visitor's short story. The film captures every type of cheese there is to be had in a 1950's low budget film. The characters look great and Hellboy, both versions of him, are a hoot. The Visitor tale was a welcome return to this supporting character and I'd love to see more of him. Hellboy continues to live in these early adventures. Read Full Review
