All-Comic - Ian Stephen
Mar 09, 2015That's the end of Sheltered. Readers come in all forms and some may not love how any series ends, but you can't deny that the journey of getting there is what really matters. The story is what matters and Sheltered was a superb read. Sheltered was such an ideal series. It seemingly came out of nowhere, made a strong impact, consistently delivered great issues, and ended precisely when it needed to. If you are someone who may have missed out on Sheltered, now is a great time to read the entireseries and enjoy it as a whole piece of work. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Martin Ferretti
Mar 13, 2015As good as Brisson's writing and narrative has been in this book, it is Johnnie Christmas' pencils that ultimately attracted me to the story and kept me along for the ride. His style is a bit sketchy and muddied which may put some readers off, but it conveys so much emotion that it serves as a terrific compliment to Brisson's gritty tale.Overall, Sheltered #15 is a solid epilogue to one of the most intriguing books of recent times. While not as gripping and powerful as the last issue, this book left me wanting the series to continue as we finally see the volcano explode which is supposed to bring on the apocalype. If you haven't read this book yet, pick up the first trade and give it a shot, you will not be disappointed. Read Full Review

AIPT - Jordan Richards
Mar 10, 2015Sheltered #15 is like a gymnast doing an amazing routine on the bars and when she goes for the landing, she breaks her legs upon hitting the ground. This a comic that has a great conclusion to a lot of the storylines and characters, but the ending ruins it all. There's so much right about this comic and series in general, but in two panels, it's all dashed by a cheap and tacked on twist. I'm never going to come back to this series because of this ending, knowing where everything will eventually lead to. It honestly makes it difficult to recommend the series. I would say maybe read it if you could get a friend to rip out the final page in the comic for you. Read Full Review
