OverallAnother strong issue that continues to illustrate Matt Murdock's struggle to keep both of his lives as a kindly priest and avenging Daredevil in check. I enjoyed seeing the conflict that Matt struggles with when he refuses to help Fisk find the absolution that he is looking for. The final panel is pretty much telegraphed from the start of the book, but the journey toward it is well-written and truly earned. Read Full Review

Campana delivers some impressive and visually interesting art throughout the issue. The visuals are beautifully detailed and capture the dark moments brilliantly. Read Full Review

Daredevil #13 is a slow, repetitive, action-free issue that ends on a small high note. The art team does the best they can with an action-free script, but the plot is meandering at a snail's pace. It's clear Saladin Ahmed is padding the heck out of this arc to stretch it out, and the result is a dull read. Read Full Review

I assume nobody told JRJR anything about the contents of this book before asking him to draw the cover?

The art was a little lacking, but it was another good issue that continued to entertain.

This issue was a low point in the run, to me. I didn't like the art at all, and some of the choices didn't make sense. Daredevil running away after Kingpin was groveling for forgiveness? Was a wtf moment. A lot of this issue just seemed off. Hopefully it gets back on track next month.

The art was a jarring shift, but it's nice to see the story progress.

the art is a miss, and this feels like a filler issue where nothing happens and I don't feel attached to the characters

Just awful, both story and art. I remember when Daredevil was a good comic.
