Big Comic Page - Craig Neilson-Adams

    Feb 05, 2018

Without wanting to give anything away, this is a perfectly poignant ending for what has been one of my favourite comics in recent memory, as well as a living, breathing testament to the fact that comics dont need to be intricately detailed or packed with eloquent, flowing prose in order to really resonate. Highest possible recommendation for this one, folks. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Joshua Hilgenberg

    Feb 08, 2018

Unfortunate as it is that the series has come to an end, all hopes for the series' treasured characters have been realized. Some found what they didn't realize they were looking for and others finally let themselves have what they needed. Perhaps even better than that is the small evidence that, even if Starks and Schweizer don't pick up the series, the characters will continue. As each story finds its end, more adventures are hinted at. Even if it doesn't mean a return to the exciting world of Rock Candy Mountain, the place Starks whisks readers out of his world is enough. Outright Geekery - A. J. Jones

    Mar 02, 2018

I would recommend ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN to just about anybody who reads comics regularly, and I'd likewise recommend it to anybody who needs their spirits lifted. We The Nerdy - Chad Waller

    Feb 07, 2018

Rock Candy Mountain has been a truly special series, a Cartoon Network show put to page. I'm happy to have read it, and overall, I'm happy with how it ended. It's heartfelt, adorable, full of cursing, and three hobos get into a fistfight with the devil. What more could you want? Read Full Review

    The GCRN - Daniel Clark

    Feb 08, 2018

Inside this fantastic story has been this tale about the importance of friends of family. Why it works is the complete lack of cynicism. Considering the state of the world comics need a creator like Chris Schweizer. He can create stories unlike anyone else that have a clear vision and that vision is executed with a high level of creativity. Seeing this series end is somewhat bittersweet. Read Full Review
