Oct 21, 2021Batman: Urban Legends #8 continues to be quite the playground for all things Batman-related. I must admit that all this "Future State" and "Fear State" hopping around has become a bit tiresome as I expect comics like this to have some "sand' that fills in the main stories in the pillar books. However, three of the four stories really piqued my interest. Admittedly, I am not a Pyg fan" however, if you put him in the pages of Spawn, well" you may have something there! Read Full Review

Oct 12, 2021This is a good collection as each story varies wildly, digs into the minds of different kinds of characters, and offers up the beginning to multiple tales. Much like the entire series, Batman: Urban Legends #8 continues to shine a light on lesser-used characters with strong results. Read Full Review

Oct 12, 2021Batman Urban Legends #8 is another mixed bag of sound art and okay stories. Whether you like it or not will depend on your character and creative team tastes, but that's how anthologies go. However, the Outsiders story could have a huge impact on the DCU, so it's something to check out. Read Full Review

Super solid issue, each story worked in its own right.

Honestly a pretty solid addition of stories, and I like the tie-ins for Fear State. Plus Professor Pyg story is really great.

These anthology series are never consistent. The Batwoman story is fine, although I really could not care less about anything regarding Fear State. The Azrael story seems like it could have potential, but it's not very engaging as of now. The Professor Pyg story is my favorite, because I really like the horror aesthetic he can bring. The Outsiders story is a bit incomprehensible, probably the weakest link here.

Mostly fine. Pyg's and Azrael's stories were the highlight. Alyssa Wong just needs to stop writing boring things.

This would've been rated much lower if not for the Azrael story, the first two were pretty meh and as always Brandon Thomas's story is just bad.

The only good story was the Azrael story but the art wasn't that great. The rest of the book was run of the mill garbage.
