Well, to my surprise, Rucka brought everything together. But how much better this series would have been if it didn't have to address things from the other Superman comics at the same time. We wasted three issues on that. And I still don't understand how Charlie is alive. But my biggest problem is that as fantastical as "we are remembering our alternate lives" is, the real fantasy here is that good journalism can save us all and that one great journalist can do that by herself. It doesn't work that way, sadly. It never has. I much prefer "press-paganga" to "copanganda" but it's still too much "hooray for our side" for my tastes.

There's moments where you can see all the promise of a Rucka Lois Lane series shining out from under the debris - the great page with Lois & Renee debating whether to tell the truth, for instance - but ultimately Rucka put too many balls in the air, introducing a different main plot almost every issue, and there was never a way that the ending was going to be coherent. This series was a collection of solid ideas in desperate need of a stronger editorial hand to make Rucka to cut some and focus on, say, two or three at most. Also, I still don't like Mike Perkins's art.

Hahahaha. Are you serious? Is this some sort of gag? Is this a Twilight Zone episode? Okay so like... I'm surprised the DC universe has never heard of the multiverse theory before. Not once. Not ever. What a load of shit. And you know what? Sure, Renee Montoya isn't dating anyone in this universe. Not a Batwoman or something like that. Now she's finally liberated to be with a character everyone else will forget about! Hooray! Show them frenching again! Representation is important to my sex appeal, damn it! If this is one of comics' "finest responses to the Trump administration," as one review said, we all need to hunker down and figure something else out. And quickly too, if the polls are hopefully true! This was a mess of a miniseries and more

This was a shit end to a bad miniseries. Very frustrating to read. Art was annoying.
