Analog Addiction - Jideobi Odunze
Sep 12, 2013A very excellent peak at what we can expect from Cataclysm when it begins and a great end to this story despite some inconsistencies. This was a story worth telling if not for showing us the reason why the Avengers answer that call when the world is in danger. It's not about going up against the biggest villain and showing them whose boss, it's about rising to the occasion when they are that last line of defense. Sep 11, 2013Di Giandomenico has the unenviable task of squeezing quite a bit of story into an issue already jam packed with a huge cast of characters. The result is row after row of narrow panels that struggle to clearly convey what's going on. There are a few big money shots, the best one being Thor in his new Stark armor, but with the story being so overstuffed, we never actually get to see him use it. Read Full Review

Marvel Disassembled - browncoat1993
Sep 12, 2013As a conclusion to the "Disassembled",Ultimates#30 is unsatisfying. The plot is predictable, and the art does a poor job fleshing out the action scenes and showing the impact the result of the fight between the Ultimates, Kang, and Reed Richards has on the Ultimate Universe.
