Terrific's tragic walk through Hell finally hits its' finish line but at what cost? Waid pens a deeper look at he strength of a soul with the writing. The art team bring out the most from each scene, especially when its time for action. It sets up the story finale on solid ground. Where it goes is anyone's' guess. Read Full Review

Thoroughly enjoyed this issue! Love the mix of old and new characters, the fact that different characters get a spotlight. Do I wish that some of the character beats could be fleshed out? Yep. But it is still fun! Curious if that was really Mr. Terrific's total plan, or if he had another idea.

I'm starting to get the feeling that Waid is running on fumes as far as DC KO crossovers are concerned. His Flash storyline in that book remains very good, but this month's JLU chapter is underwhelming. The time-lost variant heroes all finally die heroic but meaningless deaths in ways that made me feel nothing. We get a bizarre proposal from Mr. Terrific with Neron, and it's hard to say whether he would've gone through with the deal because it's interrupted by a last-page reveal that made little sense to me. Right now, Waid's ACTION COMICS work is excellent, his WORLD'S FINEST is good but inconsistent, his FLASH run is very good, but I feel that with JLU, he's struggling to keep things interesting with a crossover that he doesn't seem terr ibly invested in. more
