Dec 19, 2024Adams getting the opportunity to create within the Worlds Finest brand was a stellar choice. He retains the love of the characters and fun adventures that has been the hallmark of the main series under writer Mark Waid. Hopefully, DC will give Adams more opportunities to do other Worlds Finest stories in 2025. Read Full Review

Dec 27, 2024Jeremy Adams delivers an enjoyable story that brings our two favorite hard-traveling heroes back together. Pitting them against Deathstroke was a real treat, and the short Flash story at the end of the book was a great bonus. Here’s hoping someone at DC makes the case for a new series of hard-traveling adventures with Hal Jordan and Green Arrow! Read Full Review

Dec 18, 2024There's a fun, old-school pulpy vibe to this story, fitting in neatly into past continuity while also feeling like a modern display for Adams' writing. I know why Batman and Superman get the main focus, but it's great to see other friendships revisited as well. Read Full Review

Dec 18, 2024Green Lantern / Green Arrow: World's Finest Special #1 represents something I sometimes miss from today's comics, and that's that it's just a fun book filled with adventure and character. And there's nothing wrong with that at all! It takes me back to when I read comics for the pure escapism, free from the need to be anything more than entertainment. This book was a joy to read and Adams showcases where Hal, Barry and Ollie are my Trinity. Sign me up for a Brave and Bold series with these three and I'd be there every month! Eight out of ten lanterns. Read Full Review

Solid fun. Doesn't try to re-invent the wheel, just gives us the kind of adventure fans of these characters crave. Exactly what a good one-shot should be.

this was a really fun and entertaining one-off issue from DC

A lot of fun, but takes its cues far more from what Waid and Peyer and Kitson did in Flash/GL: The Brave and the Bold than the actual Hard Travelling Heroes stories. Still, this is probably as close as we are getting to classic firebrand Ollie any time soon.
