This was Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol on psychedelic steroids.

The whole issue was basically "how to save Bizarro World" which frankly, went on way too long and got boring, not to mention very convoluted. In addition, I don't recall it ever being established that there were Bizarro copies of ordinary Earth citizens other than a handful, and yet Bizarro Supermans' here are a "tiny fraction of the populace." Also, some of the 'opposites' are ridiculous: like th more
Batman / Superman: World's Finest #43
As Bizarro World continues to change and morph, Superman and Batman find them-selves at war with one another! With the universe at stake, they have to decide on the question: Are Bizarros beings with no life of their own, or are they worthy of salvation? The answer will surprise you!
Jurgens recycles the plot device from Alan Moore's "For the Man Who Has Everything," but the flaw in this version is that this is NOT Supes' best life. I'm being a bit obscure so as not to spoil anything. Other than that, story is strong.
Superman Treasury 2025: Hero for All #1
Legends collide as the Man of Steel goes supersized for the Summer of Superman! In this all-new treasury edition, quintessential Superman writer Dan Jurgens pairs with the modern master of sequential art, Bruno Redondo, to craft a larger-than-life story of power, tragedy, action, and, above all-hope. When a vicious armada of extraterrestrial extrem...
Wonder Woman #21
Fury of the gods! As Batman gets closer to solving the case of Ares'smurder, disaster strikes in the form of a bolt of lightning. With the CapedCrusader sidelined, can the Amazon Princess uncover the truth?
Good characterization, and wise choice to plant this in the past. Particularly like the callback to Frank Miller's Josie's bar and Turk, replete with the ever windows getting shattered during an altercation.
The Thing #1
THE THING CLOBBERS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE!
Ben Grimm may be the strongest member of the Fantastic Four, but once upon a time, he was just a scrawny kid from Yancy Street. When an unexpected visitor from his past sends him on a search for a missing child, the Thing must unravel the mystery even if that means becoming a wanted man! Get ready to see ...
This book will continue to suck as long as Saladin Ahmed is at the helm.

Nothing can escape The Man Without Fear and even amidst all the chaos and commotion of the city, something is festering...
Brainiac has come a LOOONG way since his first appearances back in the Silver Age when he traveled with a small monkey named Koko and was defeated by Superbaby (seriously!) This version sends chills up the spine and transforms him into a truly terrifying and unpredictable foe.
Absolute Superman #7
His stolen alien technology is at the heart of Lazarus Corp's global success. Buthe operates out of a seedy lair, packed with bottled cities...cities he torturesrelentlessly, just to hear the faint chorus of screams. Who is the mysteriousBrainiac? And why is he so interested in the Last Son of Krypton?
Waid's lead story harkened back to the early days of Stan & Jack, when the shenanigans between the Thing and Torch were a mainstay. The other two stories were "meh' but it was fun to read a light-hearted comic like this.
Fantastic Four Fanfare #1
MARVEL'S FIRST FAMILY! In this special, full-color anthology series, each issue focuses on a particular member of the team! For this inaugural outing, Mark Waid and Ramon Rosanas depict an escalating prank war between the Human Torch and the Thing; Alan Davis sends the team into hazards deep underground; and Andrew Wheeler and Sara Pichelli reveal ...
The idea of finding the exact moment in alternate universes when the FF were bombarded by cosmic rays is ludicrous, especially since they are able to do it over and over so easily. Plus, why would it affect Ben exactly the same way? And what's to prevent Doom from simply doing it all over again? Would've been much more interesting to have him without his powers for a few months.
Fantastic Four #31
FANTASTIC TWO!
As Ben recovers from what Doom has done to him, the Fantastic Four learn they're losing their powers at the one time they need them the most desperately!
If they can't reverse the effect, they may be lost forever - and Doom will be unstoppable.
But the family has an idea of how to get them back - and to do it s...
Great characterization, lots of twists, solid art.
Superman: The Last Days of Lex Luthor #3
Lex is on death's door as a new threat emerges to finallytake down the Man of Steel. Will Superman be able toface down this danger and save Lex, or will this be theworld's greatest hero's biggest failure? Don't miss thispulse-pounding conclusion!
Does anyone have a clue who Shay is, what she brings to the table, why she likes Peter after all his screw-ups? She has an interesting name, is attractive, and...?
Amazing Spider-Man #1
ALIVE & THWIPPING! The next era of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN has arrived! Peter is, shockingly, without a job and looking for gainful employment, but his job search is
interrupted by a RAMPAGING RHINO who is but the tip of a sinister iceberg. What major Spider-Villain is working behind the scenes weaponizing other Spider-Villains including one we have...
While not the greatest thing, it was nice to move on from that long ass arc. The ending was pretty cool.
Daredevil #20
ALL-NEW STORY ARC, ALL-NEW ENEMY!
After the harrowing events of DAREDEVIL #19, Matt Murdock is more alone than ever before - but he's still has managed to find some comfort in the arms of a long-lost love! This, while a dangerous new enemy threatens to attack Hell's Kitchen...FROM THE INSIDE OUT!
RATED T+
Finally! An issue of DD that doesn't suck! Can't remember the last time I said that.

Absolute Martian Manhunter #1
DENIZ CAMP AND JAVIER RODRIGUEZ TRANSFORM THE ABSOLUTE UNIVERSE! Beyond Mars...beyond physical form...beyond Human Understanding...all that's left is the ultimate alien: the Absolute Martian Manhunter!
If this is not a candidate for comic/story/art of the year then I may as well stop reading and travel back in time to Mars. OMG I seldom if ever get blown away by a story but i couldn't find a single word that didn't have a meaning......to the whole team an DC......Please take a bow for that was utter perfection........Jonn

The only good thing about this issue is that this endless arc is finally OVER.
Ok, the art is good too. But the whole Catholic - Matt as God's on again off again exorcist was ASININE. And the 'revelatiion' that Kingpin donated all his money to Matt's organization because the devil was cast out of his body was cringe-worthy. THAT'S NOT WHY WILSON FISK WAS EVIL.
So Matt chose to save Fogg

Daredevil #19
THE WAGES OF SIN! For months, the Sins of Daredevil have been racing to catch up with him. IN THIS ISSUE, they finally do! And the cost will be higher than ever, as DAREDEVIL makes a decision that will rock the Marvel Universe! The road to the next DAREDEVIL epic starts HERE!
This could've been so much better. I didn't buy Ben feeling so inadequate right away, I haven't a clue how going to the Puppet Master was going to restore his powers, and Alicia has gone from being a blind, sensitive artist to just another indistinguishable happy-go-lucky cipher. In the early days Alicia could feel The Thing's rock hard exterior and sense his gentleness (and inner strength). This more
Fantastic Four #30
FANTASTIC THREE!
After Ben Grimm has suffered a terrible (and very public) defeat at the hands of Doom, he's left lost, adrift - and more vulnerable than he has been in years. And when a trip to New York goes wrong and his fate suddenly turns from bad to worse, Ben has never been more vulnerable - and soon takes a shocking shortcut he won't b...
Good concept, poor execution. Doom's major initiative/panacea has been instant open borders. It's sooooooo simplistic. Say what you will about keeping out "illegal aliens," borders exist for a reason. Doom can't wipe out religious intolerance, cultural differences, centuries-long animosities, etc, by magically proclaiming "open borders." Reed's plan to "expose" Doom makes zero sense. Really? Make more
One World Under Doom #2
Doctor Doom has taken over the world, and Earth's mightiest heroes have failed twice: first to stop him, and now to overthrow him. But the Fantastic Four know Doom better than anyone, which makes them ideally suited to take on Earth's new Emperor...except for the fact that he knows THEM just as well. As Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and Sue and Johnny ...
Art 7, story 2. Ridiculous. Suddenly Matt thinks he can reason with a demon? Pride feels bad because he completely CRUSHED Matt in court? Also, it seemed to me that 'Demon Foggy" made some pretty salient points in court that weren't rebutted. The worst storyline in DD history drones on and on without end.
Daredevil #18
WRATH OF THE DEVIL!
After weeks of suffering at the hands of his literal demons, Matt Murdock has a single bout ahead of him, facing WRATH! The deadliest devil yet, Wrath has designs for Matt's soul...and it will stop at nothing to achieve them!
Rated T+
*SOME SPOILERS* This is just bad. Eighteen issues in and we're still dealing with the Seven deadly sin storyline. We still have no idea how Matt is alive which I'm starting to think we're supposed to just forget about it and be like "ohp, lawyer Matt Murdock is just back" like nothing happened at the end of Zdarsky's run. Matt defeats a demon by feeling sorry for himself? What?????
