AND NOW FOR HER GRAND FINALE! Zatanna's been hunted by demons, terrorized by warring factions of magic, whisked halfway across the world by an ex--always running from the past rather than daring to face it down. But when it becomes clear that the ghost that haunts her lies in the kaleidoscope of childhood memories she's tried so hard to forget, will she be able to turn back the clock to not just save herself but the very fabric of magic?

I think this, like most Black Label series, will read very well as a collected edition, but it also benefited from a good amount of humor throughout. I'm hoping that magical bunnies remain a mainstay of the DC magic world going forward, personally. Read Full Review

this was a very satisfying close. Even though it had a lot of cosmic magic, it was digestible and I would definitely recommend this. Mariko Tomaki may not be my favorite but I was impressed with this

A fantastic end to a fantastic series. I've never read much about Zatanna, I really only know about her what I pick up in big events that I read, so this was a nice explanation of her origin and personality-defining events of her life. The art isn't a style I usually appreciate, but for this series I really enjoyed it. For some reason, this particular issue didn't hit as well for me in the art department. I didn't *dislike* it, but I noticed that it didn't leave as good an impression on me as the previous four issues. Nevertheless, I loved this issue and this series, and because of this series I'll be much more open to checking out any future books about Zatanna or related stories.

Its a good enough ending and the art really works for this issue even if its not my jazz. Honestly this entire issue felt like that. I understood it was totally fine and the art and story went together well but I wasn't feeling it. The stranger being the Phantom Stranger was ok and written ok and her father being the main villain was... ok. Just not how I like her story. Her relationship being a positive but traumatic thing always made her, her. Without it, it is kind of weird. All that being said, if you were down for that then this issue was a good time. Most things fit well and at least the story was coherent. I did enjoy the slight twist with the power difference. Didn't exactly see that coming. All in all an enjoyable read, but more

Ok finish to an overall excellent series. After the series has built itself to the climax and really getting better this one is rather anti-climactic. The battle with Zatara her demon father literally goes nowhere and ends as something so easy for her. Nothing epic or dangerous about any of it. Maybe it's the art but this one just feels static and uneventful. Oh well. At least Zatanna is a good character and carries the book well enough.

This felt like I was transported back to the 1960's on an acid trip. The art was chaotic from start to finish but I suppose it tried its best to bring magic to life. Not really sure why yet again Batman got into this book and recently it's becoming my pet hate. It feels like every story at some point has to either bring in Batman or reference him. It kind of stole away Zatanna's final moment and that for me was really lame.......Jonn
