ON THE RUN AMONG THE STARS!
JEAN GREY has been going toe-to-toe with some of the universe's toughest foes...but now a new threat is brutally asserting his dangerous reputation: none other than THANOS.
And while she single-handedly battled back the BLACK ORDER, their nefarious progenitor (and his mysterious connection to Jean's many galactic enemies!) is another story entirely.
To have a hope of victory, PHOENIX will need to reach out - beyond the limits of her own powers - and find allies to take a stand against the Mad Titan!

Dec 12, 2024What Thanos does with having the universe turned against Jean Grey made this war between them deeply personal. How that gets turned into a story that has a large cosmic scale, especially with the other Marvel cosmic characters involved, build greater excitement for where things will go next. Read Full Review

"Panel layout is genius." The flow of the comic is super smooth. Creative panel shapes and transitions keep the pacing exciting and intuitive.

Perfect Pacing, Issue After Issue Not a single panel feels wasted. The story moves at just the right speed, building tension and releasing it when it matters most. Cliffhangers are well-timed, and the buildup always pays off. It's incredibly well-edited and thought-out.

The Narrative is Powerful! The pacing of the story is spot-on, moving seamlessly between moments of intense action and introspective character development. Every page reveals something new, pulling you deeper into the narrative. It's a beautifully balanced story that keeps you hooked, whether you're a fan of thrillers, drama, or fantasy.

I love how this issue dives deeper into the world-building. It's not overly exposition-heavy, but the world feels so rich and layered. It's like you're gradually discovering the rules of this universe with each page, and it keeps you hooked with every new reveal.

Not quite as awesome as the last issue was for me, but still a super solid read. Renna's art is really nice and I genuinely wouldn't mind if he ended up becoming the main series artist. Oh yeah, and I'm really intrigued by the team set up at the end of the issue. I continue to look forward to the next issue for this run.

That cover is amazing! I don't see the point to this book but at least we have a cosmic marvel book on the stands and it's ok. Out of the entire crop of mid to low tier writers that have come into comics I think Phillips is the most consistent in putting out decent content and this issue is just that, decent.
