IT'S WOLVERINE VS. LOKI BACK IN THE OLD WEST!
Loki doesn't exactly belong in these parts - or in this time period! But that's never stopped the god of mischief before. And with Wolverine on his side, there's no man or god with the power to stop him. Now...he's just gotta get Wolverine on his side. See their first ever team-up in this two-fisted tale of gods and gunslingers, when Loki meets: THE MAN FROM UP NORTH!

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

So maybe he gave Wolverine a verbal tic back in the old west. He may have done more than that. Kibblesmiths all-too-brief walk with the god of mischief has cast everything in the Marvel Universe in a whole new light. He can affect events in the past now. Who is to say that he hasnt been between the panels? Causing weird, little problems and inconsistencies in the continuity over the years? Its a fun, little gift that Kibblesmith and Loki are handing the Marvel Universe at the end of a very short series. Read Full Review

I have a feeling I know where at least some of this is going: after all this isn't the first time Logan's been able to shake off a reality warp and that ability, plus Verity being a living lie detector, will probably come in handy as Loki tries to figure out just what is going on and I'm here for the ride. This was such a good series. I'm sad that it's ending so soon. I hope whatever Loki does next is as interesting as this was.

This series was too good to last. I'll mourn it for a long time.

I'm sad that Loki is ending prematurely with Loki 5, as it was surprisingly hilarious. Issue 5 showed off how perfect Daniel Kibblesmith is at writing dialogue. Even though literally every scene that doesn't have Loki talking in it sucks, Kibblesmith provides a satisfying conclusion thanks to a surprise guest and a new title for Loki: god of Outcasts

There are some things that I didn't love, overall this was okay though.

This one was a little confusing and not nearly as good as the others. Definitely the weakest issue but excited to see what happens to Loki.

Loki crams an abrupt conclusion and a happy reunion on top of a perfunctory Wild West Wolverine team-up. I love the character and the dialogue and admire all the wild, transformative intentions (Loki identifies now as the God of Outcasts). But there just aren't enough pages to do it all justice, and the WWW team-up loses out big. Visual problems don't do it any favors, either. For an Ole West story, you need an artist who can handle "heads wearing hats" without making it look like people are missing chunks of skull.
