Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles

Like his former sidekick, Ollie understands the real threat of Amanda Waller, which sets up the focus of the title for at least half a year. It's a good time to be a Green Arrow fan again even before the return of a moderately recent GA villain. Read Full Review

This book is doing an amazing job of digging deep into the long lore that has built the Arrow family while also making it an engaging story that can bring in new readers. And if I wasn't already excited, one of my favorite obscure characters is returning soon! Read Full Review

Green Arrow #7 was a nice surprise. Even if youre not a huge fan of the character or havent been reading Green Arrow, Williamson does a phenomenal job taking a pulse of whats been happening throughout DC Comics this past year. Picture this issue like cliff notes. So, if you have been interested in getting back into DC Comics, Id pick this issue up post haste. If youre a Green Arrow fan, Green Arrow #7 was nothing like the prior installments. It has direction, purpose, and sanity. All aspects that were missing from the prior issues. And if this reviewer is correct, I think it will be Mr. Queen who initiates getting the band back together again. And honestly, who doesnt want to see the Justice League back in action? Let me know what you think, have a great week, and God Bless! Read Full Review

Another excellent issue from Williamson and his artistic team. A real moment for Oliver (and the reader) to stop and think about everything the Dawn of DC movement has brought to the table so far. It also signifies perhaps the beginning of the journey towards a new Justice League forming. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez

Green Arrow #7 is a tone setter for this series moving forward. Back from his Multiverse adventure Oliver Queen takes steps to be proactive about being part of the bigger Dawn of DC direction. In the process several characters arcs and plotlines are developed that should make Green Arrow one of the most important titles for DC Comics. Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Gabe Hernandez

    Dec 26, 2023

Green Arrow #7 begins the next arc with an issue-long recap of the past that doesn't tell you anything you didn't already know and does nothing to find Roy. Williamson picked the oddest time for a cooldown issue after the poor finale in issue #6, and the art team's output is jarring. Read Full Review

I found this issue to be a wonderful homecoming. Did it have the action that I seek? Well only 1ish pages worth but it has a lot of other stuff going for it. Green Arrow/Green Lantern talk was great. It really lets you know where everyone one else is at this moment. DC has done an absolutely terrible job letting you know how the world is working. Each book feels like its own thing. This issue really tied together the Dawn of the DC world like no other has. It really tells you where each character is in their journey and really grounds everything. Also for any relapsed reader this is a perfect issue. Like Olly, I do wonder, where is the Justice League? I long for it back as the Titans book is just not doing it for me. Like at all. more

A fairly strong start to this new arc. I enjoyed seeing Ollie go around and asking everyone about the Justice League. Hairsine's art in this book wasn't my favorite at times, but Giandomenico's was really nice throughout.

a super fun and entertaining issue. I also want to mention but I absolutely love the art and color in this story. The color makes the art stand out

Great re-set from the previous storyline, as Ollie reacclimates to a world without a Justice League. We even get a nice reunion with Hal Jordan, who was inexplicably left off the cover though. Lots of new mysteries spin out of this and it almost feels like a new #1 instead of issue #7. Love the artwork too! This book is in good hands and I'm glad it's now an ongoing title.

I'm not a fan of this art and I dropped the title at around issue 4 and decided to pick it back up with the start of the new arc hoping they would get back to the street-level action that Green Arrow was made for. Unfortunately, we are still dealing with the multiverse crap. I'll get another couple of issues, but if it continues to be about the multiverse, I'll drop it again. Let's get back to form, Joshua.
