Forces Of Geek - Atlee Greene
Jul 15, 2013One of the great things about this series overall is Bemis' portrayal of Tim. Absent is the stereotypical, self-loathing whiner with a bleak outlook on life and present is the stereotypical, self-loathing whiner of sorts who is troubled by the degeneration of his generation. The real difference is that now he has the power to actually do something about it. The ending teases the possibility of a sequel down the line and while there was no stone left unturned, Bemis and the entire creative team have turned in something special and I hope we haven't seen the last of Tim and his "Manic-Man" persona. IGN - Benjamin Bailey
Jul 03, 2013Jorge Coelho produces some killer looking pages in this issue, but nothing quite as strong as we saw in the previous issues. Largely, that is due to the fact that he excels at character work and cityscapes, but not so much at large scale superhero battles. The fights look choppy and odd, lacking the flow and energy needed to give them any sense of excitement. Again, like the story itself, there is nothing bad here, but Polarity #4 doesn't deliver on the promise of what came before. It's a good ending, but hardly a great one. Read Full Review
