    AIPT - Christopher Franey

The end is almost here as Murdock goes up against Pride. Saladin Ahmed, Aaron Kuder, and Jesus Aburtov continue the epic "Introductory Rites, as readers are thoroughly treated to who the Sins have possessed and how they look. The feelings of tension and anger hit hard within as Murdock revisits his roots in court and has to deal with his consequences attacking his friends. The creative team reminds us that Murdocks can drop, but they find a way up, and Daredevil has been finding ways to stay up against his worst enemies, his own sins. Read Full Review

Kuder crafts some visually thrilling and engaging art in the issue. I liked the action a lot and the character designs are great, especially the devil designs. Read Full Review

It's not bad. It's entertaining, but I wished we got more clarification on how Daredevil came back to life after Zdarsky's run

Judging this issue on its own, I quite enjoyed it. Kuder's art really works for me, and this arc has culminated in a solid climax. My problems are with how unnecessarily long it took to get to this point (I don't know of any other Daredevil story arc that has gone on this long, and it also feels like very little has actually happened) and how this creative team seems to have ignored, forgotten, or is totally unaware of what happened in Zdarsky's run. The whole world thinks Matt Murdock is dead, but here he is in court and no one thinks that's weird? It's like Matt forgetting about Fisk killing Mike but even worse. I'm okay not knowing how Matt was resurrected-in fact I think it's better to leave that vague and up to interpretation-but I'm n more

I liked this issue. I do think it would be nice to get a new story, but I did enjoy this for what it was.

*SOME SPOILERS* This is just bad. Eighteen issues in and we're still dealing with the Seven deadly sin storyline. We still have no idea how Matt is alive which I'm starting to think we're supposed to just forget about it and be like "ohp, lawyer Matt Murdock is just back" like nothing happened at the end of Zdarsky's run. Matt defeats a demon by feeling sorry for himself? What?????

Art 7, story 2. Ridiculous. Suddenly Matt thinks he can reason with a demon? Pride feels bad because he completely CRUSHED Matt in court? Also, it seemed to me that 'Demon Foggy" made some pretty salient points in court that weren't rebutted. The worst storyline in DD history drones on and on without end.
