Jun 08, 2021Johns is an old hand at turning out great comics and while other stories are floundering on their third issue this stepped up a gear in pace, action and emotions. Another solid issue. Read Full Review

Jun 13, 2021Geiger #3 delivers the best issue of the series yet. It's the most informative issue, expanding on the lore of Geiger while also keeping us on the edge of our seats. Geiger is the type of hero comic we didn't know we needed but now can't live without. Read Full Review

Jun 09, 2021Geiger #3 gives readers a solid flashback for readers to see. It doesn't exactly move the present-day story forward, but it does move the personal story of Geiger himself a little bit. The encounter looks great thanks to Gary Frank's art and Brad Anderson's colors, while Geoff Johns goes for a more emotional experience for Geiger to overcome. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Jun 09, 2021The action hero loner is a challenging thing to finesse without seeming hopelessly trite. Tariq Geiger narrowly manages something fresh, original, and mysterious beyond the cliche of the action loner with a dark past. Having a couple of kids to look after will likely pull the narrative really far into the cliched direction that will probably end up in some pretty silly territory with the villains that Johns has carved out for the series. In light of this, its nice to know that there are enough panels in the first three issues to make for a really solid and enjoyable one-shot. There have been some excellent moments in the series thus far. Read Full Review

This has been a really original comic, the combinations that Geoff makes between the medieval idea brought to Las Vegas, the mutations, it was great. Geiger when see his family is death hurt, all the waiting, the pain was useless. a great cliffhanger

Awesome art check. Cool characters check. Devastating story check. Okay I have to give in and say despite #2 was weaker, #3 brought it home. The story that we were missing from #1 to #2 really hit me, I didn't saw this coming, and the cover... my god this was sad and heartbreaking. And my god was it well written and drawn! Really feeling it now! Lets go Geiger!

"You took hope from me." While the setting might not be awfully original, there is no denying that this book is really, really fun. The artwork is gorgeous and the story moves with excellent pacing. Very good issue.
