It is a story rich with introspection, carried by a deep understanding of Peter Parkers emotional architecture, yet undermined by a sluggish pace and inconsistent visual delivery. For all its missteps, however, it remains a work of genuine intentone that seeks not to glorify the past, but to dissect it. Pretty good start JMS just gets Spider-Man so much and the characters also it's interesting seeing a story set in the past where Gwen is actually encouraging Peter to get with MJ because they both like each other but he doesn't know how it's a lot of fun.

I loved this. JMS writing Spider-Man is always like putting an old comfortable sweater and feeling good. It's nothing new, but the familiarity and good vibes makes it a really enjoyable experience. Also, I just love the voices JMS has for these characters. Especially Peter. His is one of my favorites.

Very enjoyable Spiderman story. Nothing groundbreaking, but the writing and art are very well done and this could be seen as a breath of fresh air for some Spidey fans who aren't into the craziness around the character these past few years.

This gave me Pre-One More Day vibes from Amazing Spider-Man. It's nice to see JMS tackle this again
