The war between vampires and heroes rages on with bloody casualties on all sides, but Damian Wayne, the vampire with the mind of a human, remains the most desired prize in the fray. Both Green Arrow and the vampire army seek to put him down for good, and it's starting to look like Damian's days are numbered...until a Dark Knight emerges from the shadows and offers unexpected salvation! And in a backup story written and illustrated by Tyler Boss, everyone's favorite interdimensional imp, Bat-Mite, pops into our universe...only to learn the sad fate of his Bat idol. There's other heroes to worship, though, right?...right?

DC vs. Vampires: World War V #3 is the time ithe story where established plot threads are beginning to come together and set the stage for the next part of the series. This in no way detracts from the overall story being told and still leaves questions to be answered. Read Full Review

Rosenberg has been at his best with multiple plots moving along, and DC vs. Vampires: World War V #3 is no different. Aside from scenes ending too conveniently and abruptly, this series has a great pace with a good mix of horror and melodrama. Read Full Review

The horror tone of the series is compelling, but it kind of lacks the high-octane thrills of DCeased. Still, the reveal of a potential new bearer of a key mantle is interesting at the end of the issue. Read Full Review

DC vs. Vampires: World War V slow burn storylines offer up the signs of what is come in issue #3. Whilst Otto Schmidt's artwork is still an instant draw, Matthew Rosenberg's complex and compelling story is rapidly becoming standout in its achievements. Read Full Review

SighI was worried about the incoming padding of the material in World War V, and unfortunately, I was not proven wrong. So, now all we have to do is watch the series spin its proverbial wheels until it decides to untangle its threads. As for when that will happen, your guess is as good as mine. Read Full Review

Excellent. This series is honestly the best current Elseworld story DC is publishing. By far actually. Compelling, intriguing and without losing sight on character work. I have a theory on who the new Batman is going to be that I think I may love.

HEAVY SPOILERS I repeat myself every month but I really like this series. Is it perfect? No, in fact you can really see the seams often, but it's compelling, well constructed and it really wants to tell a story, instead of just a bunch of cool elements happening for no rhyme or reason. And what a story. You've getting intriguing set-ups that feel natural, the character banter is fun and the reveals mostly hit. I'm intrigued about Barda, about the vampire from the future, the woman that appears in the throne room... I wasn't even that big a of a fan of Damian in this series before, I'm not even a big Damian fan. And I'd be lying if I told you I didn't find those scenes of him being cornered and alone in the forest compelling. They got more

Hot take: I actually think Matthew Rosenberg vision on DC vs Vampires is more interesting and compelling compared to James Tynion IV.

I like the battle between Alfred and Diana and some of the dialogue is really good here. Then it gets confusing. The artist doesn't know how to lay out the action while directing attention to important factors. I still have no idea why they melded Aquaman and Deathstroke, but this is also confusing. I'm not sure what happens during the fight with Damien and the other vampires. He throws some kind of grenade which goes off several minutes later, killing Batwoman, but leaving him, Raven, and Cassie unscathed. Too confusing. If anyone knows what happened here, please let me know. My Comic Review Channel - https://youtu.be/8biQU5RaBIA?si=Id8vjMPF99F081tu
