This isn't a long run, but with this finale it's proving itself to be one of the very best DC books I've read in a long time. Don't miss it and give Gene Luen Yang the credit he deserves. Read Full Review

Listen, this has been my favorite book to review, and it's been a real pleasure singing this book's praises. If you've been reading the book since the start of Yang's run, then grab this issue. If you haven't been reading the book but are looking for a fun one-and-done story, then definitely grab this issue! If you want to read, or revisit, this wonderful story in one place, then absolutely grab the hardcover! Trust me. It doesn't get much better than this. Read Full Review

The writing is a lot of fun. Yang does a great job here keeping it all light but still interesting. The art by Pelletier isn't my favorite but it isn't bad. This is a nice last issue of this series. Read Full Review

And Pelletier is able to showcase the insanity with reality-bending pages. I like the craziness of it all. This is the sort of book you should give a new reader or a grizzled, jaded old reader. Pure fun. Read Full Review

Batman/Superman #22- It ends on #22 and that is probably a great thing. Do we need a World's Finest comic? Yes".. Does it need Bruce and Clark".maybe not. As a fan, I would love to see Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne take up this calling. They are already best friends and the future is bright for those two together! Read Full Review

What a way to close stuff out, not by going into a new story or setting the stage for someone else to succeed it, but just having fun with complementary franchises and characters. Who would've thought Mxyzptlk and Calendar Man would have good chemistry. And the way it uses the comic structure itself to mess around with Batman and Superman is phenomenal. It's just sad that most comic creatives aren't enjoying themselves as much.

Brilliant. A spectacular end to a criminally underrated book. I pray that GLY gets another book instead of jumping ship to stay at Marvel. DC has no idea about the golden goose they have...

a whacky and crazy ending that features the fourth wall broken to smithereens. Pretty creative to be honest. Sad that htis series is ending, but at least it ended on a high note.

Fun issue. Sad to see this book go. They used Mxy to brilliantly close out the Batman: The Brave and the Bold cartoon but I really liked how Yang played to the strength of the actual format here. Is there an Eisner award for Most Eisner-esque Single Issue?

Today's writers could learn from this. You can still tell a great story in a single issue. You don't have to make the story drag on and on for over a year. This one had it all, action, humor and best of all, a great story. The only downside is this is the last issue. All because of DC's cockamamie plan to replace Superman with a younger more modern version. An idea we all know will not work. But to do that everything that features Superman must get rid of him. And this series wouldn't sell anymore if Superson replaced Superman here as well, so it's "Just end it." Pity. It's been the best book to feature either hero this year. This series will be missed.
