What places this one-shot over the top though is its choice to provide no easy answers, embodying an ongoing battle from which the B.P.R.D. cannot save us. Read Full Review

Spontaneous combustion gets an explanation and Hellboy is right in the middle of it. This one-shot has the perfect eerie vibe and the visuals tell the story expertly. I'd love to return to Florida for more heat in the Sunshine state. Read Full Review

Hellboy One-shot Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1955 - Burning Season (featuring some terrific art by Paolo Rivera) is unusual in that there isn't a something for Hellboy to defeat, only survive. Worth a look. Read Full Review
