Self/Made has been a somewhat strange and derivative exercise that had real potential for turning into something breathtaking. The six-part series didnt allow enough of a runway for the story of multiple worlds and strange games to really take off the way that it could have. Its unfortunate. A brilliant story could have developed had the series been Abe to run just a bit longer and really spread its wings. Read Full Review

What a massively disappointing end! Sadly, Groom has fallen into the trap of being too convinced of the cleverness of his conceit, and as a result we get a silly, contrived, and utterly unconvincing ending that is tagged on to a pointless and silly issue. And then to top it all off, an epilogue that teases that it was all someone's dream. God help me, this is the writing of a 10 year old.
