Another epic comic this month! So again I misjudged this book because I wasn't that impressed by the cover. I still wanted to give it a shot being WWII themed. So happy I did because just like my surprise from the gritty Sabretooth #1 this gritty Wolfenstein-esque comic was fantastic. The art is just right and really gives you this Band of Brothers feel that takes a supernatural twist. I know this has been done plenty of times but this jumped you right into the action and wasted no time. I love that between this and Sabretooth the writer and artist are not afraid to get bloody and violent in their panels allowing the reader to invest in the life and death situations of these dark worlds. Fantastic first issue and already one of the best books going at marvel (thought that's not saying much). The art is amazing and PKJ really nails the supernatural WW2 style story. Really hope he maintains a focused story without it dragging on too long which has been somewhat of an issue for me with the current Hulk series.
