This was an impressive and exciting end to the second story arc of Bitch Planet. Intense, gritty and thought-provoking, this issue truly captures the exciting and stimulating pace of this story. Read Full Review

    Comic Crusaders - Kittie Pop

Kelly Sue DeConnick has always been a fantastic writer, but I truly believe that Bitch Planet is her best work. You can see the bruises and the wounds and the rage and the love within her words. She pours her heart and soul into this book, and each word I read made me feel prouder and less alone. Read Full Review

But I think what the most powerful thing is about these comics are the testimonials in the back. The endless amount of pictures of tattoos with the Non Compliant symbol, the pictures of marches people went on, interviews and the many stories. That is what makes this series one of a kind. A testimonial of our times. That being said it is not a series just for women, in the pictures you will also see men proudly displaying their support for the Non Compliant movement. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Carrie McClain

    May 15, 2017

This was already a brilliant issue, but the ending was a nicely tied bow on top of it all. De Landro's art style never feels forced to be something it's not — it's stark and gritty in a sense: perfect for this book and explosive when it needs to be, especially in the last pages. The timing of the action and the pop of color, of red in different places in the different panels are visually stunning. This issue stuns. This issue of Bitch Planet drops some bombs. This issue of Bitch Planet rights the ship in the right direction. I needed to read this comic book. I'm glad the creative team did the damn thing and pushed this shit out. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jeff Lake

From the extended delay between issues to its increasingly complex narrative, Bitch Planet is not an easy book to pick up on the fly. Such a long lull would fell a lesser title, but yet again the book manages to overcome any rust by the sheer strength of its content and the vision of its creators. Read Full Review

    Spock's Brain

    May 09, 2017

This was an exciting issue. It's the end of the second story arc, I think (?), but ends with a cool cliffhanger. I don't always remember exactly what's happening because this comes out pretty infrequently, but this was a pretty readable issue in it's own right. A highlight is the Valentine De Landro art, and the satirical women's mag article headlines on the back cover.
