You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Sep 02, 2026Though the basic premise is modification of a mutation of something that's made it to the page in million times before, it's kind of nice to see it. Articulated began with a different group of characters. Young heroes being taught by a dark figure who is large medium owner, and an experienced with the concept of being a mentor. It's been done before. And it's been done before at least feel much more powerful than the opening issue of this particular series. Pretty solid first issue here. It does a lot in one issue in order to set up the status quo going forward, but I also appreciate it for that reason. It's definitely fun and I think this might resonate more with people a little younger than myself, but, again, I had a good time with it. Nicuolo proves to be a really good choice for this book, as well. Interested to see where this book goes.
