Adams and Xermanico produced a huge, action-packed comic stuffed to the gills! I have to say you can see the energy and excitement from the creative team just from reading this. Issue 6 ends off on a more somber note and adds some more emotional tension to what's really been bothering Hal Jordan for these last handful of issues. Don't miss out on this series, pick it up! Recommended!

This issue was thrilling, as it marks a culmination to the story Adams has been building, building upon the earlier emotional spectrum work that Geoff Johns so masterfully developed. The art is gorgeous and Tomasi's Korg back-up story is good too. Just need Adams to start answering more of the questions that he has readers asking with regards to the backstory that's been hinted at surrounding Hal, the Corps, and the United Planets. It's outstanding to be getting two great GL books each month! Nice to have the franchise in such good hands as those of Adams, PKJ and Tomasi. DC Editorial has made a lot of mistakes lately (Knight Terrors, Gotham War, The new Flash book) but at least they've restored the GL franchise after many disappointi more

I really liked this issue. I hope this series is consistent so we can have another definitive Green Lantern run. I hope this run can be on the same level as Geoff Johns Green Lantern run and Robert Venditti's Hal Jordan and hte Green Lantern Corps run. It had good art, great action, good dialogue, and engaging story. I think Green Lantern is an underrated gem that hopefully will get more exposure

Green Lantern #6 throws down with an epic showdown between Hal Jordan and a Sinestro consumed by the red rage energy. Jeremy Adams wastes no time thrusting readers into the heart of the conflict, showcasing the destructive potential of Sinestro's newfound power and Hal's desperate struggle to contain it. As we've come to expect from him in this series, the art by Xermánico, along with Scott Godlewski & colorist Romulo Fajardo Jr., brings the raw destructive power of the red rage to life, with Sinestro's constructs manifesting with visual displays of fury. The contrast between Sinestro's previous controlled power and his current unbridled fury is stark and visually striking.

The mystery builds with a great fight. Sinestro is way off from what he normally is and it is clear something is deeply wrong with the emotional spectrum. The revel at the end was sad but good to confirm. Great art. Adams does a good job in this story, but I must say, he story is getting exciting and I really look forward to all the answers to these questions, so I hope he can pull that off well. If he does, my ratings for this run will go way up. Good run with a lot of potential. So many plot points to unravel and explore. Back ups art is once again so weird and disjointed with the story. This was a nice, action-packed issue that ends on a pretty somber note. I get the feeling that Adams is getting ready for a big story in the next issue and I'm looking forward to it. As for the backup, I continue to be indifferent on it. It's not a bad story by any means, but it's not doing much to gain my interest for a full-on Sinister Sons miniseries.

I like how he describes Sinestro as cold and calculating. He knows the character and also knows the rage portion of the story is out of character for Sinestro. I miss the times of the rings finding people that were worthy. I would have liked it better if a red ring found Sinestro and said, "Sinestro of Koregar - you have great rage," rather than his ring suddenly turning into a red ring. I also miss rings having to get powered. All of those elements have just gone out the window. I have to say this issue gives us the most boring fight between Sinestro and Hal since Silver Age. Yeah the art is good and the action scene is exciting. But the dialogues are just rough. I think Adams is a great writer as he is very good at telling stories, but the problem is, he hasn't understood Hal that well. Nor has he understood the relationship between Hal and Sinestro and what makes it unique. If they fight, I want to see how their past haunts them, how their visions conflict with each other. However, all I can see is Sinestro suddenly snapped and Hal kept saying "Sinestro stop being mad!" What's the difference here if we just change Sinestro into another random villain. I hope Adams prepared something else in next issues. Or more
