    Comic Watch - Anthony Bergamini

    Mar 11, 2026

Transformers #30 is the best issue from this new creative team thus far, thrusting these characters into a new status quo that is unlike anything Transformers fans have seen before. Read Full Review

    Fanlight Zone - Richard Coryell

    Mar 11, 2026

Transformers #30 brings the power struggle to a conclusive end, well also setting the tone for what’s to come next in the series and the Energon Universe as a whole. The action, although great, pales in comparison to the drama and the fallout that we will witness in issues to come. This is one of the most important issues of Transformers in this series run. This book is my Pick of the Week and should be on everyone’s list of books to grab at the LCS this week. Read Full Review

    Comical Opinions - Gabriel Hernandez

    Mar 11, 2026

Transformers #30 is a high stakes pivot that justifies the cost of admission through pure character growth. You get plenty of narrative value for your investment here. Read Full Review

The Energon Universe clearly has some momentum as it moves forward with its central titles. With any luck, it’s going to be able to keep moving with that momentum. Kirkman is taking some real chances with the series. If he can pull it off, he might just have something special here. Read Full Review

Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles

    Mar 11, 2026

Transformers 30 certainly sets a new status quo for the series, but minus one major aesthetic change for Optimus, the series still feels like it’s in good hands despite this issue’s hiccup. Read Full Review
