    Fanlight Zone - Richard Coryell

Transformers #29 is an action-packed joyride that gets the readers adrenaline pumping. Every page is packed with action and shows just how much the hatred between the two sides runs. Add to that an intense final page that catches the reader completely off guard, and you have a slam dunk pick up at the LCS this week. This book is my personal Pick of the Week, grab it off the shelf and find out why for yourself. Read Full Review

If your pull list has room for one loud, beautifully drawn robot slugfest this month, TRANSFORMERS #29 earns that slot by delivering a clean, high impact battle that looks fantastic and moves fast. If you are hoping for big emotional turns or radical new ideas, this issue plays more like a gorgeous crescendo than a fully rounded story, and you could wait for the trade without losing much context. Not gonna lie, the cover for Transformers #29, had me concerned … the cover A art just isn’t that good, however EVERY page of the interior was spectacular. This was an all-out, straight-up, action packed issue! Picking up right where issue 28 left off, Megatron was literally eating Trailbreaker and Optimus Prime has had enough. He goes after Megatron with full force and before you can say “one shall stand, one shall fall” it becomes a massive brawl between all of the Autobots and all of the Decepticons. Each page is rendered with beautiful precision by Dan Mora … this guy is an Action Master (see what I did there). No humans … no M.A.S.K. … just robot on robot combat! Well done and exactly what the series needed. Arcee, Magnus, even Beachco more
