I loved the first series especially on a reread without the unacceptable delays the series had. This first issue for the latest installment is good enough but so far hasn't presented an interesting plot. That said, I still really like the world and characters from the original series so I'm glad to revisit them and see what's next.

Though the whole golden age reminiscent kryptonite beats felt a bit much and some lines from Damien felt off, this is the best story we've got for Jon since he's been aged up and I really hope this adds some momentum for Jon to evolve in an interesting direction. Would love a Damien and Jon team up to rescue young Jon from Earth 3.

My thoughts while reading this were best said in Billy Madison: “What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

Checked this out as I really like Gene Luen Yang and Jubilee but unfortunately this issue was your classic generic one off that was a fairly boring read.

Great art....

All the moments with Harley were excellent but all the cut aways to the Robins didn't have much to offer which hurt the issue overall.

I've went back in time to revisit King's run and surprised that most of it was still pretty good up to this point aside from Brave & Mold, War of Jokes & Riddles, and Everyone Loves Ivy; but this right here is seems to really kick off the tope of misery that King will continue to lean on to appear as "elevated" or "edgy" where it's just plain awful. From here on out his unfortunate reign of misery shall plague DC as is currently happening to Wonder Woman.

Best issue in a while and really hope Simone can get this series back on track.

I really liked that first issue but this issue was a chore to get through. Hopefully the story picks up again now that we've got past this Lobo team nonsense.

Jimenez continues to kill it but Fraction's scattered storylines continue to make each read unsatisfying.

Jeremy Adams is a great guy and knows how to write a fun comic but he's lost his way of late in this series getting too goofy with the plot that it's killing the series. The moments with Jade were great though and I really hope he can get this book back on track and find a balance between fun and a compelling story.

This book is so much fun and I gotta give props to North & Guidry on that "choose your own adventure" double page spread.

The flashback scene was a cringy with Prion giving Batman wisdom, but the rest of the issue was fantastic.

I liked everything here but there was just so little covered in this issue.

I appreciate what Fleecs is going for but the dialog from Ravager was so redundant and felt somewhat off character at points.

I'm a sucker for Skartaris so this issue was a blast.

Some clunky talk with the villains at the start but then lots of great moments with Kate, Montoya, and Beth.

I like the detective style we're getting with Dinah but some of the text is just so heavy handed it's eye rolling even when it's points I agree with and belong in a Green Arrow book.

The Robin fight at the start was very underwhelming especially with the art but I did really appreciate Dick realizing they were making things worse. I'm really loving having Harley on the team which adds tons of fun when she's with Alfred, but her waxing poetic on Bat facts was a bit much though I know Snyder love to force those facts in. Probably my least favorite issue of the series but still real good overall. Just shows what a special run this is at how consistently excellent its been.

I'm revisiting Snyder's classic Batman run and these fill in issues take away from the momentum of the series and this one was especially such a slog to get through.

This series is continuing Tamaki's MO from Detective where there's an interesting character/story dragged down by goofy nonsensical ideas and characters acting dumber than they are (Barbara trusting to take pills from some rando in prison). The art is especially great in the "trippy" scenes and there's enough to keep me interested in the overall story.

I had fun with some of the monster art but the story and generic heavy handed dialogue are continually losing me. A lot of the character beats just feel redundant and heavy handed. I feel this series is making Gambit less interesting and I care less for the young mutants more and more each issue where I found them interesting at first. The back up just magnified my apathy.

So glad this series finally seems to have settled into a focused story and characters lately as Mora's art is just far too incredible to waste on average stories.

Fun read and Y2K's origin was hilarious but I'm worried the series will quickly start to lose appeal if Adams doesn't start to focus on a meaningful plot soon.

This issue was so much fun and surprised me at how much was crammed into the issue as it was such a breezey read. North is killing it!

I had so much fun with this issue and the art is out of this world! Williamson and Mora have something really special going on here and Williamson's Superman run will go down as one of the all time greats (and he's very hit or miss for me). I usually save 9.5's for a story with huge emotional weight, but this issue was so exciting and fun along with beyond perfect art that I couldn't go lower.

Fantastic issue and so happy to have this creative team continue to show how Mikey is the heart of the team and not just a goofball which has been my biggest disappointment with Gene Luen Yang's otherwise great start.

Huge improvement with story and art here. Finally we're getting some substance and working out the emotional tension between Ralph and Alopex was great as I was disappointed in the absence of Ninjara's history with her Ralph.

Both the art and story are disappointing for an "event" with so many powerhouse TMNT creators involved.

Disappointing start but optimistic things pick up.

Big fan of Skartaris so it's amazing to have a well written modern story there with great art. It feels like Waid's got a second wind for the series which has really fallen off fro the brilliance of the earlier issues. Really hope this storyline keeps up the pace.

I'm interested but this issue was so heavy handed and text dense that it really hurt the pacing and border lined taking me out of the issue.

Nice cool down issue with the family getting a chance to bond that also introduced a few new interesting threats for upcoming stories. My only gripe was how jarring Shin's excuse to go back to the afterlife was and would have made so much more sense and natural for her to say she has to go back to maintain the balance or tend to her responsibilities.

Tons of fun and great to see Jarro plus fantastic art.

The scene with Mary and Lana was hilarious and the issue was fun but the whole backstory pages weren't needed and art was jarring and certainly not up to quality for one of the main books.

Solid message but the issue just failed in the execution.

The art and plotting really nailed the sense of tension and urgency of the story yet the same issues I've had with Fraction's run would still take me out of the story. The whole regression of Damian throughout this run wasn't needed for Fraction to have a moment of Bruce realizing he needs to work on his parenting wasn't needed and could've been handled better. The bollards joke and Barbara's send of were so cheesy they really took me out of the issue. I appreciate a big swing for a story so Barbara getting arrested is a very compelling story but having GCPD locate all of the remote Batcaves was way too much almost to the point of being offensively blasphemous.

I went in knowing this was intended to be funny but this was just as bad as Green Lantern Corps has gotten.

Uneven art and storytelling but still a decent read with some fun moments. I'm a big fan of Loeb's previous Batman work so this isn't up to his usual quality but it's way better than the unreadable H2SH.

The main story was a huge disappointment both writing and art wise. I was pumped for this when I heard Meltzer was writing this but both the story and interactions between the characters didn’t do it for me. The backup stories were a mixed bag as expected with the Spider-Man Noir as the strongest.

Fantastic start to North's run and totally captures the feel we've been missing since Adam's run. The minor gripes I had with the first issue are all gone and seems North really found his voice for the series now. Can't wait for more.

This issue was a blast and Williamson continues to do god's work showing how Damien has evolved unlike his frustrating peers who continually regress the character due to their lack of knowledge.

I was initially shocked how good this series was due to Watters awful Nightwing run and this issue worries me that the solid beginning was just an aberration.

This issue was excellent and I really like Dani's layouts but the lack of detail especially in faces hurts the story.

Tons of fun with amazing art. Just a joy of a read.

The scene with Mon stressing to Leia that she can't just rush off into battle has she has responsibilities as a leader and mother was great and I liked the moment with Han & Valence though it was a little too heavy handed. But aside from that, I could care less about any of these new characters or any of this overstuffed mess of plotlines which is so disappointing for what should be such a exciting time for new stories in the timeline post Jedi.

Though the origin stories are extremely basic and generic, I understand it's not a bad idea to provide for new readers as a jumping on point. Fortunately, the wrap around story was fun and sets the stage for Kyle taking the reigns while still addressing what Hal will be up to.

Thank god we have a readable Flash book again! This might be the only interesting social media themed story I've read yet where it presents a really compelling threat where a villain can keep Wally too busy saving people for him to realize what they're up to. North gets the characters and brings the book back to the tone Jeremy Adams perfected. The constant "I'm no science guy" inner narration while then going on to expand on scientific explanation was jarring and was starting to take me out of issue. Hopefully North shakes this off from his FF writing, otherwise it'll hold back from what could otherwise be a great run.

Such a disappointment after the last story where this book was tracking to be the best current Batman book now that Batman & Robin is over. This should be such a fun team up but the issue felt disjointed.

This series continues to be a goofy fun time though Felicia talking directly to the reader is jarring and I hope doesn't get inherited into her actual character depiction going forward.

I really liked all the stuff with Kurt but Mutina is just an awful character (though awesome design) and it's jarring watching this young girl hold her own against Wolverine and Nightcrawler. The transparent and annoying trope of making a villain appear tuff beating someone far above their level realistically.

The art works perfectly for the style of writing and Young's got a fun take for the series but this just isn't the type of book I spend my time on.

Disappointing art but the end twist kicked things up making me wanting to see what's next.

Most of the issue dragged on too much but at least the end left something interesting to follow.

This was such a disappointment to wrap things up already and just didn't hold up to the previous issue. The Mark Russell cowriting also made some of the dialogue jarring for Batman.

I gotta give Brombal credit for essentially taking the piss out of how redundant Titan stories go with the classic team which really illustrates how the team needs to be refreshed or at least mixed up after a while. It was just disappointing we didn't get anything of the new team aside from the final panel.

Decent issue and like the concept of taking Wolverine down some Reacher-like stories. You just have to suspend all belief that Silver Sable would take such a job. The money spent for her contract could've been used to put these people up in some nice secure condos. Guess she's now reduced to slumming it along with the quality of recent ASM runs.

Solid issue and far more interesting than the awful "event" we just had to suffer though. Had the whole Age of Revelation just been one standalone issue set in this series, it would have been great and still got us to the same place as here.

This a real good action issue that keeps the plot moving while adding some new elements into the fold. My only gripe is for the over simplification of Michelangelo's character Yang is writing. He's so focused on making him the funny goofball from the cartoons that he's sacrificing or not aware of how emotional he is and that he's the heart of the family. His reunion with Tang Shen felt lacking where he would've been much more overwhelmed in that moment rather than just a quick hug then some jokes. Yang's still doing a great job overall but its moments like these that are somewhat jarring or disappointing.

Though the art wasn't really doing it for me, solid issue and it's great to see Kal has taken that next step of exemplifying hope. I also appreciated how Kal has gotten through to Ra's but Aaron kept things realistic where he still escapes and falls back to his nature which is far more realistic than a corny Grinch heart growing moment.

Such a shame that the sad state of Marvel has fallen upon the Star Wars books too. This should be such an exciting time for Star Wars comics finally diving into new territory with the original series crew yet we're given a below average writer telling the most bland story with all generic new characters. The only decent moment was Valance sparing Han from killing the villain. Completely apathetic to everything happening and really hope Marvel Star Wars gets their house in order to restart stories in this era with a talented new creative team.

Both volumes have been amazing and this was a fantastic final issue to a truly special series. Great to see a legend like Dan Jurgens still putting out classics.

This issue was fantastic and Carol losing her mind over her proposal getting ruined was hilarious. Especially as neither Hal or Carol looked right which was especially jarring for an issue focusing on their relationship. Adams killed it on writing so it was a shame it wasn't complimented by the art.

This is some of Taylor's best work in a long time and hope he keeps this up as this is so far the best Detective run I can think of since Tynion was on it.

It's criminal not just what a let down this series has been, but more so to have Dan Mora's talents wasted on such mediocre stories. I'm a Mark Waid DC fan but this series has just never felt important or cohesive yet Mora keeps pumping out some of the best art in the industry.

This issue was tons of fun. This series has really felt stagnant for a while but this issue finally takes an interesting angle for something fresh. Hopefully the story keeps up this pace and the series will end at issue 50 on a high note than continue on with more mediocrity.

I felt Layman got into a good groove as his run went on, but then really struggled come the tie-in's with too many moments of the team just talking things out getting too far bogged down in the details so by the time we get to "feel good" moments they really didn't hit.

Huge improvement from the previous issues and hope Barnes found his groove going forward.

Lots of exposition.

Great ending to what's not only the best arc I've read from PKJ but also one of my favorite Batman stories of the last few years. Perfect blend of classic villains being swept up in a conflict with a new villain/vigilante while doing great work on Damien's growth as a person. I'll certainly be picking this up in a trade and recommend to anyone. Only nit pick is the "pretty brave" comment from Bruce was being cringy and would sound so condescending to Damien. That's something to say to a little kid he saves at best. Now we just need someone to give this story (amongst plenty of other recent runs) to Matt Fraction asap before he continues his brutal regression of Damien in the current Batman book.

Got off to a boring start and didn't love the art, but the second half really picked up and made this a solid read with some good moments.

Way too many characters involved so there really wasn't enough time to really have fun or get any fun moments. That said it was still a decent enough read where these things are usually much worse.

This series is so up and down throughout each issue for me. Jimenez's art is incredible as always, there's some good action, and I like Hugo being involved. Yet we keep getting small moments of villains that have yet to amounted to anything. By issue 6 it would be nice if there was at least some progression in one of the many plotlines with the villains. It all just feels so scattered. But the main problem I have is the offensively excruciating regression of Damien that total contradicts recent and even current ongoing stories where Damien is well past this. The mistake was so forced but I can roll with it but the whole scene with Tim was such a regression especially when the current focus of the PJK series is all about Damien wanting more than just being Robin and/or a future Batman. The over the top scene with Bruce brutally scolding him was also a bit much and also so contradictory to Batman & Robin. Plus the tender moment with Tim later made this seem even worse in retrospect. Then having Tim putting his Robin role on hold felt somewhat hollow and would have felt more authentic if we saw a few moments with him and Bernard and/or how its putting a strain on their relationships. So far it just feels like Fraction has ideas set in his head without any care of them being accurate to current continuity. This is something that should and could easily be fixed with some editorial guidance.

Not only is Mora's art amazing but this issue was such a great palette cleanse to read after Fraction's Batman where he's totally regressed Damien when Williamson & PKJ have done excellent work evolving Damien and showing everyone that he's got a heart of gold and wants to be more than just Robin, while still having his arrogant edge.

I'm always nervous this story will fall apart due to how awful Watter's Nightwing series is, but even with the somewhat silly concept of Shredder being the jailor to a cosmic god, the series continues to tons of fun with badass action with the right amount of cheese.

Really liking the story and easily one of the best books at Marvel currently (though that's not saying much). Dan Panosian's coloring compliments his awesome art brilliantly giving it an indie feel further making the series more unique than the run of the mill current Marvel nonsense.

Best issue in a while. Huge Felicia fan so having her be the focal point of a classic heist mystery with Detective Storm on the case was a good time.

This is actually a perfectly fine issue in itself to end the story, however the previous issues were so awful and the unforgivable decision for North and editorial to have Doom enslave/harvest the people of Latveria to rule the rest of the world just makes this issue and its fairy tale narration painfully eye rolling. This all could have worked had Doom harvested another nation but doing it to Latveria completely breaks the character and all his previous history. The ending with Val would have worked perfectly otherwise.

I was expecting so much more from this as Jeremy Adams writing a lost children story should be a homerun but this issue just felt average. Stories like this keep making grown up Jon Kent feel like a character without a purpose which is a shame.

This feels like kids smashing action figures together.

The story is just boring and Gambit’s narration is painful to read. This future story just feels corny.

"Some things are just a bad idea" the perfect quote from the issue which defines the entire mess of a story Dan Water has written his whole run. Great art but this story is so awful that I have to drop this after the next issue's conclusion for my own sanity. Nightwing deserves so much better than this.

This was a very uneven issue and way too long. I'm not an Omega Bam Man fan but figured we'd at least get a fun romp with him teaming up with Kyle. We get some of that but also way too many other plot points and what felt like a never ending back story that totally dragged on forever. There was still fun to be had and any wrestler fan will appreciate the loving nods but the dialogue heavy exposition and overlong back story really made it hard to have a good time.

This stories been great and is far away Johnson's best work. Hopefully it comes to a satisfying conclusion next issue and Johnson doesn't drag it out too long which is unfortunately the norm for him. Ossio's art is fantastic too and draws an excellent Scarface & Wesker.

I generally avoid Leah Williams writing at all costs, but as a Livewire and Dan Slott fan I gave this a chance. The main story surprisingly wasn't that bad for a goofy comic but I felt Livewire was a little neutered and should have more bite to her character. The back up was pretty fun and had the tone of a "poor dad" style comic strip.

This series was a blast. I really hope Rucka gets a chance to further explore Cheetah's new path. In a perfect world, King would get fired and Rucka could continue the story in Wonder Woman as no one has come close to writing Diana with such perfection since his runs.

The dialogue is a bit much and is so unnatural trying to be witty banter (is this a date? I never said it was a date. *cringe*) but the overall story is fun and the new villain is interesting and the whole issue just looks amazing! Jimenez somehow just keeps getting better and he's already been my favorite current artist (along with Mora) since Tynion's run. All that said the final scene with Damian was just awful and totally shows a lack of character knowledge or just not caring to make your story work. Zeller was clearly on the roof so there's no way Damian didn't see her there and would never make a flub like that. Just really took me out of the issue and left a bad taste in my mouth when this moment could have been done with some more care.

Transparently super fan servicey but it works for me especially with Mora's art.

Fun issue and devastating the series was cut so short as this series was a bright spot in the disappointing current wave of Star Wars series.

This was a huge improvement from the last issue and seems Wilson figured out how to write a light hearted fun series for Felicia without it feeling like a bad cartoon. Though the X-office is focused on ruining the character by shoving her down everyone's throats, it was great to see Kamala back in the trustworthy hands of her creator.

Ok issue with basic Lex tropes. I've liked Sherman's art in Absolute Wonder woman but the art took me out of it in this issue.

I initially liked how North would explore science/science fiction concepts to weave some interesting one shots but now it's just gone on too long especially when the stories have tended to fall flat for me.

Although I didn't connect with the viewpoint concept at first, I did appreciate them trying something different, but as the story progresses it really won me over and elevated the story in the second half.

This is as basic Jason/Joker as it gets and exactly what you'd expect.

This is the Jeremy Adams I love and why I'm so happy DC has finally realized he's one of their best writers. He knows how to accurately portray all DC's characters bringing plenty of fun and comedic moments while delivering tons of heart. This issue was Adam's doing what he does best and all he needs to finesse is his big level threats where the conclusions have felt too rushed and/or over simplified with some hand waving.

I've been a little cool on Taylor's writing of late but his Detective run is fantastic and hands down the best in continuity Bat title in the line right now. Not only are the story, character moments, and choice of characters amazing; Mikel Janin's art is just on another level especially for this issue that it felt like a special read each page.

Great first issue and far and away the best current spider-man comic.

Fun but the pacing was so rushed that it really didn't give the story enough time to breath resulting in very simplistic resolutions and having the characters narrate what's happening. Could've been much better if it were a double sized issue.

Lots of fun with Guy but the plot just kind of goes nowhere.

This arc is far and away the best thing PKJ has ever written and the end reveal was fantastic. Penguin, Two-Face, and Ventriloquist are three of my favorite villains so this story is just checking off all the boxes for me. Great call to have a subtle character like the quiet man hunting them down as I don't think the story would be as effective with some verbose character hunting them down. Only minor gripe with the issue is the street kids are starting to be a bit much and though the art is great, Damien looks off character. Really hoping PJK sticks the landing on this are it'll be a trade worth collecting.

Though it's sad at how disappointing this series is, this is was ok and better than what we've been getting so hopefully Segura gets into a groove from here on out and things improve. Phil Noto always does fantastic Star Wars art, but there were some jarring panels that felt mailed in so I hope the lack of writing quality doesn't start to hurt his inspiration or excitement to draw the issues.

This series continues to be a fun read that's elevated by Michele Bandini's amazing art.

Immaculate art from Mora made this somewhat cliche story a solid read.

This story just really does nothing for me but PJK writes a great Clark which gives me just enough to continue reading.

Ok issue but I do appreciate and hope that the tease of Teresa is not really Peter's sister sticks which alone makes this series worth it. Her and Silk being retcons just feels too much and I find Silk's original at least slightly more reasonable plus she's a fun character.

Though the story and mission is basically just some random side quest that will have no impact on anything, this was still a decent read thanks to Mora's unbelievable art.

MacKay finally seems to have got a solid grasp on the characters and this issue had the most natural and authentic dialogue making it a great read and looking forward to the next issues way more than before.

I was loving this arc so its disappointing we get such a hand wavy conclusion that really falls apart once you actually think about it. The art didn't help the issue either with a few confusing panels that took me out of the moment during the fight.

After a wobbly start with some hiccups such as having Bullock speak like an after school special lesson, Taylor really seemed to found his groove on Detective and is some of his best stuff since Injustice and Knight of Steel. This was a fantastic issue giving Lois a chance to shine working along side Bruce plus Janin's amazing art. This issue jumped out to me realizing he's one of the best at accurately drawing the characters' natural faces with impeccable expressions.

This issue just blew me away. Non stop suspense til the end with so much heart for Bruce and Waylon's friendship to make such an over the top story carry so impactful. This series is some of Snyder's best work if not his best.

A nice improvement from the first issue and clearly establishes that this crossover will just be some self aware dumb fun while still having a nice focusing on Superman's moral character and beliefs.

I used to like PJK but hiss continually over drawn out stories have finally beat me down to accept that it's all he's going to offer. This elder story has gone on for so long that it's lost any sense of urgency or intrigue that no matter what happens, I'm just unable to care at this point. I was enjoying the the monster of the week style due to the amazing art and even as that went on I kept reading for Charlie as she's a great character. I suppose that's what's most frustrating is that PJK is capable of being a fantastic character writer and has a strong passion and knowledge for the characters he writes but the over drawn out pacing is just killing his stories for me. I'm really liking his Batman and Robin as his character work with Damien is phenomenal and I'm just praying editorial (though also lacking at DC) keeps in on track to create tighter stories.

Mora's art is amazing and such a blast to have Grant revisiting some of his old creations, embracing the golden age cheese he loves, cosmic concepts, and bringing himself into the tale like the legendary Animal Man series. Aside from the great story from Taylor for Nightwing/Wolverine (and Gabby thank god!) the rest weren't anything of note. Aside from Mora the art looked rushed especially for Redondo who did such a great job on Nightwing. Batman/Deadpool - 7.5 Constantine/Strange - 6 Nightwing/Wolverine - 8.5 Harley/Hulk - 5 Static/Ms. Marvel - 4

The issue feels very climatic and is super elevated by Dexter Soy's amazing art but this whole Zani & Pearce story is built on a foundation of bad issues with all over the place plotting. I love Nightwing so I'll follow along and hopefully the rest of the arc are on this level (but hopefully better) which at least provides a decent read though ultimately makes no sense.

I was very nervous at the start of the issue which continued the painfully boring discussions about all the considerations of moving the population, but Layman finally gets to some good beats with the threats the Titans will have to take on the protect the displaced people. Layman's done a good job on this series so really hoping he gets things back on track with the last issue just being a hiccup of a tie-in issue.

Finally some progression and interesting answers! I love Lemire but he should've tightened up the previous issues to get to this sooner and the series would be in a much better place. However this issue was great from everything with the rogues, Wally, and the reveal that Thawne played Barry which is why he seemed sketchy before. Really hoping Lemire keeps up this pacing as there's a lot of interesting things at play here.

Slott plotting with Adams writing goes together like pb&j! A perfect combo of writers who like to have fun but elevated with Adams' mastery of character work. This is is exactly what Jon needs to as I feel like he's yet to get a good story since being aged up and really hoping we get more stories of him in this series to progress the character under the hands of better writers.

Interesting story elevated but what may have been the best lightsaber battles I can recall from the Marvel cannon comics.

This whole revamped year one story just isn't doing it for me and I hope it only lasts 5-6 issues and switches to the current timeline with more interesting stories.

Th lack of Jeremy Adams assisting on writing is evident and the art also takes a step back. Still a decent read but not as good as the series started out.

Continues this awful story with characters acting ridiculous for no reason. Continuity issues aside, this story would be just as bad if it were an else world series. Only saving grace is Lee's art and parts of the interaction with Catwoman.

This issue kicks off with a fresh new fun flavor while still having some intriguing elements at play, especially the reveal at the end. This is a great change of direction after Aaron's attempt at something different that ultimately didn't do it for me. I just hope Yang doesn't lean too much into the cartoony personalities of the turtles and delivers on the depth and emotional beats that the IDW series has excelled at.

This series is just so mediocre and the constant reminders to the audience of how "great" each Avenger is has become insufferable and a bad trend that's dragged their books down post Bendis and Hickman's runs.

Somewhat generic but at least gets somewhat better once he meets up with Chewie.

The first half of the issue was a bit of a slog to get through but once things pick up, we get some fantastic character moments and interesting stakes for the next issue.

I've been having fun with this series but half the issue is just showing all the distraction events laid out which made for a boring read.

Though the story isn't captivating me, PJK writes a great Clark so there's enough here to keep me interested.

I was skeptical with the KO crossovers but this issue was better than KO. Joshua Williamson has been doing great work on Superman and continues his evolved writing here.

I like all the set up going on but have a lack of enjoyment due to too many comics of late treading water or mainly being all conversation without any excitement (i.e. Ultimate Spider-Man). The set up is all good and works fine especially only being at issue 3 but my biggest concern is with some of the character work, especially with Damien. That scene felt too contradictory to where Damien is now, and I worry Fraction may not have a grasp on Damien. Not only is he currently seeking to pursue a medical career but also has a deep passion for creating his own comics which has been a strong focus of Williamson and PJK's fantastic work evolving Damien. This scene was just enough off character that I fear there may be a lack of understanding the character leading to a character regression which would be devastating.

Solid end to a fun series.

Awesome art with crazy monsters but there's no substance and the eldest story has gone on so long that it's been stretched too thin now.

Frustrating as everything is well written, but we continually just get lots of talking each issue to the point that it's really hurting my enjoyment of the series. I'm more of a character work guy but this series takes it too far without enough balance of action and the biggest sin being the lack of May who was a shining star in the earlier issue.

This series continues to be so much fun and is far and away the best series of the current era.

DWJ's story was great but the other two weren't that good.

I liked the characters all coming together but the multiple plots going on feel too convoluted and uninteresting.

Fun issue and I'm open to a goofy run for Felicia but some points were too off character and corny. My biggest concern is that future writers take thing angle from now on and the character gets ruined (see Harely Quinn across the street).

Finally Simon Spurrier's finally of The Flash and we can get some actual Flash stories. So great to read the Flash fam again where everyone is written naturally to the characters. Though its a shame this book gets bogged down over explaining KO (like so many other books this week), its at least great to have a fun romp with Bart and Wally.

Waid's been putting out some great stuff with his return to DC but his events have all been a mess with each one having so many lingering effects that just convolute things so much it takes away from any intrigue or suspense from the next event. The concept of following a bunch of temporary heroes isn't doing it for me even though he's trying to add some depth to how they feel, it mostly fell flat.

After the rushed/hand wavy "event", Adams get back to what he does best in this cool down/set up issue full of fun dialog touching base with where all the characters are at and setting up the threats coming forward. The art is great. Super energetic making an issue full of talking feel more exciting.

Though the explaining the process for getting everyone off planet is fairly boring (thank god not brutally boring like Teen Titans), Williamson at least has some good dialog in those moments. The end with Lois and Prime was fun and should make for some good issues to come.

This issue was tons of fun and was not only the first issue with Mark Russell involved that I've ever enjoyed let alone been able to tolerate. He still couldn't help himself repeating some bag gags that fell flat but all in all this was the fun one off this series needed after running stale of late.

Jeff Lemire is one of my all time favorite writers but man this series is really struggling from pacing. Just when things ramped up last issue to get things going, we're bogged down with a flashback issue that could've been shown in less pages and would've fit better in an earlier issue.

This series is just a fun read and feels like Slott has found his groove balancing some cheesy fun with an interesting story.

I'm a huge Nightwing fan but this series just keeps getting more painful to read. The dumb concepts were bad enough but all the Killer Moth "jokes" made me physically cringe.

Man this issue was painfully boring. The whole moving the whole population off planet from KO is ridiculous enough that the less explanation the better so it's a shame this series had to get bogged down with a tie in issue to explain the process. Way too much unnecessary text and can't wait for the series to get back to it's own story. All that said, I really liked the scene with Tera & Raven so there was at least one moment worth reading.

This issue was just a slog to read but thankfully got more interesting in the final couple pages.

I liked North's FF run but have been struggling with this event but this reveal that Doom is sacrificing the people of Latveria to make the world better is garbage and totally goes against the character. Just another example of how awful Marvel has become and a lack of good editorial staff. This would have been fine if it was any other nation but Doom is all about his people and only his people so sacrificing them to help other nations is just awful and so disappointing to see how low the Marvel line has become.

I had plenty of fun with the characters in this issue and event but there was far too much hand wavy moments that really took away from the issue. The worst part of the event was the generic villains where had they stuck with Nate as the big bad as it started, would've been so much more interesting. Still a fun read and looking forward to the future issues of both series now that the event put things back in place.

I really liked all the character moments at the school and with the parents but the whole shift where Captain Comet was just testing Clark by betraying him after we explicitly saw him working with Lane felt very unnatural where the concept would've been fine without that scene in the previous issue.
