Sep 16, 2026Sometimes you just gotta cut your losses. The book had some interesting ideas, and the artwork throughout the run so far and through this issue is pretty great, but the story structure and what’s actually going on just left me feeling more and more lost, and more and more disinterested in what’s going on. There are books I’m willing to put the work in on, but I feel like I’m scrambling too hard to figure out on a monthly basis what’s happening here, and it’s time to cut this book loose. I love the character in general and versions of Kate Kane I’ve seen before, but this one just didn’t work for me. Read Full Review

Very good stuff but I wonder if maybe DaNi is not the best fit after seeing this issue, and I want to know why Col. Kane is back in the good graces of the Bat-family.

Entire arc requires a reread to see how well it all holds together from a story perspective.
But the art rocked in this. -

I really like the series but it's a shame to waste a whole issue on flashback recapping implied moments. The art was a huge improvement though which elevated the issue.
