Yeah, this was super cool. The bulk of this is somewhat of a flash-forward projected into Scarlet Witch's mind by Nightmare and it's incredibly well-done. MacKay is just fantastic once again here, as he establishes a huge threat and builds the heroes up to their mightiest in order to win, only for them to, seemingly, lose. However, we don't get to see the end since Wanda becomes aware of Nightmare's presence. Either way, this was a really strong start to this new arc in one of the best issues of the series yet, in my opinion.

Well that was sure an impact filled start to a new arc. I was growing weary of the old one so hope this one goes better than the last. Loved the epic fight throughout the book and the hopelessness. 4th Wall Breaking skit with Scarlet Witch was fun. Ending is where the real arc actually starts and I am glad to see it is aiming to address of a couple of subplots that Marvel has sort of been dripping to the readers over a period of a couple of years with Kang. I am cautiously optimistic.

It was a fun read, well written and visually great. I just feel stakes are always so incredibly high and very cosmic. This feels again like Justice league. I like this series so far not loving it though

It's a well-cooked slab of apocalyptic Avengers, but that's not exactly a novel recipe, is it? And it's ultimately a big fake-out. This issue's highest accomplishment might be picking up the foreshadowing from Timeless (2022) and, retroactively, making that a more interesting read.

McKay really needs to spend some time slowing down and focus on character work which is what he's best at. Each issue has been quickly losing steam due to nonstop end of the world threats but having most of this issue be just a dream was really lame. The art was great and still keeping faith McKay finds his groove.

This Avengers comic unfortunately falls into the trap of feeling like a rehash of stories we've seen many times before. The narrative fails to break new ground, offering a plot that feels overly familiar and uninspired. The dialogue does little to enhance the experience, lacking the punch and wit that are often the hallmark of great superhero comics. It's hard to connect with the characters when their exchanges feel so flat and uninventive. While there are a few decent fight scenes sprinkled throughout, they aren't enough to redeem the overall experience. These moments of action provide brief highlights, but they can't carry the weight of an otherwise lackluster story. In the end, this comic might appeal to die-hard Avengers fans who enj more
