Batman: Off-World #4 starts the back half of the series with a new threat and a new look into Batman's head. So far this comic has been firing on all cylinders, and signs point to it ending just as strongly as it began. One can only hope that between Off-World and his stint on Action Comics that Aaron gets to cut loose on other DC icons. Read Full Review

While Batman: Off-World #4 continues the fun, smash 'em-up story, the main plot feels like it's floundering, due to the lack of any real, in-depth characterization. The art's more than worth the price of admission, but for me, this feels like ultimately shallow entertainment. Read Full Review

This is the best series that Jason Aaron has written since his Thor run. I was skeptical of the premise of Batman in space, but it works really well and actually makes sense. Why wouldn't Batman want to be prepared for alien attacks? The supporting cast of Ione and Punchbot are also great new additions to the DC universe, and the art is fantastic.
