May 29, 2024Spider-Boy #7 brings Madame Monstrosity's evil gene-splicing operation to an end with an Avengers raid against her secret lab. Slott's script brings the major conflict to a close while leaving several subplots open for more exploration, and Medina's art is bright and fun. This issue didnt feel good. For one it didnt have that all ages reader feel to it as far as the writing goes. It feels like slott took a bunch of ideas and mashed them together. Also winning with the power of friendship is pretty lame if it isnt a shonen manga. Kind of cringe.
