The Incredible Hulk #8 wraps up this story arc with a cool team-up between the Hulk and the new Ghost Rider from WWII against their common enemy, the War Devil. The art is the real star here, Nic Klein's art and Matthew Wilson's colors really sell this comic, which is pretty straightforward and to the point with its plot. The action we get, while not inspired, is still pretty cool to see as Hulk and the Ghost Rider use some brutal tried and true methods to take down the War Devil. The only disappointment for this issue is that we don't get to know more about the new Ghost Rider, but there's hope we'll see him again in the series at some point. Read Full Review

The Incredible Hulk #8 is a fine example of Hulk smashing with incredible art. That said, Phillip Kennedy Johnson's tenure has fallen into a rut, repeating the same story over and over. Eventually, the monster of the month approach stops becoming entertaining, and this series has reached that point. Read Full Review

Plot PlotHulk is controlled by the demon JINNI DAGAAL who tries to destroy Hulk's psyche by killing Bruce Banner, but Hulk's anger is overcome and he breaks free. JINNI DAGAAL takes on his physical form, which is immense, but Hulk and Ghost Rider join forces and defeat him, but the threat of Eldest remains. Ghost Rider of old warns Hulk that Eldest is going to bind him by attacking Charlie, that she is key and that he must take care of her. Exciting close to this story arc, but Hulk and Charlie's adventure continues as Eldest follows her trail. Another amazing episode of this saga that mixes supernatural terror with the myth of the antihero in a perfect and terrifying balance. Art It is organic, full of details and textures t more

I can only imagine an issue this epic much have been created in this way: PKJ: Nic, I need you to draw the most epic monster fight between Hulk, a WW2 Ghost Rider, and a Giant Blood Bourne style demonic monstrosity. Editor: THIS IS MADNESS, do you know what you have requested! We must stop him! PKJ: *Raises his hand* No, we must let him cook. *Cue to Nic drawing furiously to the sound of German Power Metal*. Read this issue and tell me this didn't happen. This is fighting for the best, or is the best monster fight story I have read in years. When I stumble upon this issue in the future on a re-read, I will like get that same adrenaline rush I did reading and re-reading this book this week. This is a must read.

An issue full of awesome action with great art by Klein. I enjoyed Wilson's color in the majority of this, but I particularly enjoyed the pages where Klein did his own colors. I think it was a great way to create a distinction between the two different "realms." Plus, Johnson did a great job of including a nice amount of actual story here as well, aside from the action. I'm really looking forward to seeing where the next story arc goes, as I've been intrigued by what I've read from the solicitations. Hopefully Danny Earls does a good job of filling in for Klein on the art duties.

This was a good wrap-up of the WWII Ghost Rider storyline. I liked when he turned to his grandson and told him never to want anything to do with war. I found that pretty profound as well as the ending where he told Hulk to protect Charlie as she was his weakness. The action was great. Let's see where the story goes from here. This issue maintains a solid continuation of the Hulk storyline, with strong artwork and consistent inking. However, it doesn't quite reach the heights of the previous two issues. The plot feels slightly less engaging, and while Ghost Rider's presence is still a highlight, the overall impact isn't as strong. It's a decent read, but it leaves you hoping for more in the next installment.
