Bruce smoking a pipe looks so cool he should do that more. Also Batdad is adorable here, super great art, fantastic work from Bill Finger
Detective Comics #38
Featuring the first appearance of Dick Grayson! As Batman's sidekick Robin debuts, learn how Dick Grayson went from circus performer to the Boy Wonder to crime-fighter!
in comparison with superman's stunning debut, Batman's feels a bit more lackluster, however his design is brilliant, and the gritty street level detective is missing from many modern comic books.
Detective Comics #27
The very first appearance of the Bat-Man in the six-page story ""The Case of the Criminal Syndicate!"" This issue also features the first appearances of Commissioner Gordon and the revelation of Bat-Man's secret identity as Bruce Wayne.
how can you even pretend this has aged poorly, superman is coldddd in this. The scene in the road is one of the coolest and most iconic scenes of all time. Just brilliant stuff.
Action Comics #1
Just really awesome, lantern on lantern action
Green Lantern #198
A CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS tie-in issue! Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner team up to destroy the Anti-Monitor's birthplace--but the Green Lantern Corps discovers the dangers of Hal and Guy succeeding in their mission and head to Qward to stop them!
Definetely am missing something (Currently reading every Sinestro comic) but it was alright. The big reveal at the end was awesome.
Green Lantern #197
A CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS tie-in issue! Green Lantern Guy Gardner continues to round up super villains in hopes of standing against the Anti-Monitor, but John Stewart doesn't agree with this plan and will do anything to stop it!
Eh, boring
Green Lantern #123
Green Lantern attempts to rescue Guy Gardner from the Phantom Zone...but Sinestro shows up!
Alright, there's the payoff, the contrasting ways of operating is so fun to see, Sinestro dressed as a Jester is hilarious, and the rest of the cast just seem to show their relationships between eachother a lot clearer than ever before.
Green Lantern #92
Sinestro has one more trick up his sleeve when he uses the Silver Twist to teleport himself, Green Lantern and Green Arrow to a medieval world! "The Revenge of the Renegade" part 2.
Eh, fun Green Arrow moments, but the factors needed to make this a great comic are missing
Green Lantern #91
"The Revenge of the Renegade" part 1! The former Green Lantern Sinestro sets a trap for Hal Jordan on Earth...and uses Green Arrow as bait!
Sure, the plot isn't the most riveting, but the art is beautiful, Sinestro's return feels deeply menacing, at least momentarily, and the moments between Green Arrow and Black Canary are just perfect.
Green Lantern #82
"How Do You Fight A Nightmare?"
