Overall, these are all brilliant stories, including the main one, but I wish there was more new story here to justify picking this up for regular readers. Read Full Review

Trinity Special #1 is mostly a recollection of stories that were already printed in Wonder Woman, but that doesn't change that the stories are a joy to read. So far Trinity, AKA Elizabeth Prince, is a great new character whose character dynamics with Jon and Damian makes for fun hijinks and a welcome status quo. The only new material, "Mothers and Daughters", is actually the strongest of the bunch, telling a short but powerful story of how Trinity steps into her own as the new Wonder Woman. Read Full Review

A cool collection of stories which will easily acclimatise any reader to this new character. Trinity is fun, exciting and yet not too far away from being deep in to one to the DCU's biggest contemporary storylines. Read Full Review

I loved this book, and though not every story was my cup of tea, I enjoyed each one, and the more I thought about it, the more things I liked about each one. The two different styles of art reflected the types of stories told. I recommend this book highly and think I may even check out the new Wonder Woman run to see if it connects to this last story at all. Read Full Review

While the reprints here are entertaining, Trinity Special #1 doesn't add much to the mythos of DC's newest Amazonian. Read Full Review

It's not a bad collection of shorts, especially if you're interested in catching up on Trinity's story without hunting down a copy of Wonder Woman #800 or the other places where the bulk of this issue's contents have appeared previously. However, none of it feels essential, and the new material is the issue's weakest, making it redundant to those most invested in its title character's existence. Read Full Review

Tom King writing young characters reads like a completely different author versus him writing almost any other property. The trio of heroes (Damien, Jon, Lizzie) are a fun group to see them interacting, lots of bickering and love between what are 'siblings' between the original trinity of DC's mythos. This is a collection of the backup stories at the end of the Wonder Woman issues which is great if you aren't following the main story. I like Lizzie and I understand why some people would dislike Trinity; she has a lot of elements that make readers usually hate new female characters. Very girl boss, a know-it-all and extremely headstrong and sarcastic toward. When you read this one-shot, you can understand why she's like that; Lizzie is a more

Something almost absurdly comical about a CIA spook being so out of ideas that he decides the Amazons need to have a ritual where a mother points a gun at her daughter. The opening feature was charming but King, as always, drags it down. The sooner he's fired the better.

I liked the previously released back ups in the Wonder Woman issues but the new story is bad with awful character portrayals.

This score is only about the new material. I kind of hated it. It's so weird and off putting.

Trinity punching Diana reminded me of that one issue in Batman / Catwoman where Helena fought Selina. Didn't like this new story, and I stand by my theory that the Super Sons were the real stars of the backup not Trinity. $6 for essentially an extra backup is not worth it. Don't know how you make the daughter of Wonder Woman uninteresting and unlikable, but King found a way.

I'm not going to lie I enjoyed the goofy escapades of Damian, Jon and Lizzie, this was a nice way to humanize them. The art was fantastic and the dialogue wasn't s**t like the WW run. What turned me off despite all of that was how at the end Lizzie punches Diana in the face for not wanting to shoot her during her Amazon trials. The ish also shows that Diana also did this during her trials punching her mother in the face. BULLSH**! Why do you have to make Lizzie an insufferable competitive pain in the butt like every second she has screen time? But anyway no way in hell would Diana ever disrespect her mother like that in front of all the Amazons or even privately. That is so beneath her and disgusting King really is pissing and sh**ting more

So this is functionally a bait and switch. Its mostly a reprint book of the back-ups with a really pathetic like what...8 pages of new story with Trinity punching WW in the face which is apparently the same thing WW did to her mom. Which btw is not in character. So essentially framing Trinity as a copy and paste of her mom just more annoying and cocky I guess. There is no reason to purchase this book unless you like to waste money. You likely already have almost the entire story. Save your time and money. If you are giving this a 10 I must assume you give everything from King a 10 or you have never bought WW and actually like these back-ups alone.
