Ghost Rider from Percy and Smith has been solid through and through; so much so, many would probably consider it one of the best stories featuring Ghost Rider told in years. Read Full Review

Perhaps the biggest issue is the lack of definition in the entire concept of a Spirit of Corruption. What exactly it is that it's going for is kind of hard to define. And it's just sort of a blanket evil. Might as well be something a lot more abstract than that. Because the concept of corruption kind of messes with the entire idea of the demonic activity that's going on. It just clashes with it in a way that makes it a little bit more murky than it should be. Overall, however, the basic premise of this kind of pursuit of the supernatural is actually really interesting. Given the right momentum, Percy could come up with a better approach. Read Full Review

In the front half, the words and art do an excellent job of building up tension for this dive into Hell. Talia even lampshades how nicely the characters' motivations line up. The resolution is logical and believable, but not as viscerally satisfying as the set-up. It's particularly frustrating that Dr. Diyu's fate is left ambiguous after the last few issues did such a good job of rounding out her character.

I enjoyed this as a whole, especially the killer art from Smith, but I did feel as though that this was another case of this run having the ending of an arc feel a bit rushed. In this case, it was a bit underwhelming also. I don't know. I feel like the next issue could have been used to stretch this out a little, considering it's currently being advertised as a standalone story before we get into the Weapons of Vengeance crossover with Wolverine.

While still being a really great story I felt this conclusion felt a bit rushed. It could be that I really like stories with as much detail and depth as possible but this felt a bit anticlimactic and quick. Overall this arc was fantastic I just wish the conclusion had a bit more to it. The direction of the book is still very exciting though and I really look forward to finding out what's on the horizon
