The idea of Kirk Langstrom as a true supervillain isn't one that fully clicks with me, and we don't see quite enough of him this issue to say how it'll play out, but it's an interesting change of paceand it adds a higher stake to the Bat attacks Batman endured. Read Full Review

The latest case for Bruce and Damian Wayne closes in one aspect but opens a surprise one with this latest issue. Williamsons strong writing balances the family and crime-fighting while the dual art threat of Di Meo and Janin gives readers a wonderful trip through the vivid imagery. Make sure you have this series on your pull lists at the local comic shop! Read Full Review

Batman & Robin #4 gives and takes. We get a villain but lose the mystery. It also gives us something to look forward to next issue… but I can't tell you what! Read Full Review

Batman and Robin #4 continues to excel at showing Damian and Bruce as father and son while ongoing superhero exploits occur. Williamson has a great concept on his hands to delve deeper into Damian's growing up a bit while developing his relationship with Batman. The story just needs to get on with it. Read Full Review

Batman and Robin #4 does a good job at wrapping up this first part of the Man-Bat and Shush storyline while leaving the door plenty open for it to continue as a long-term arc. The dynamic between Bruce and Damian Wayne continues to shine and carry this series. It all comes together for what is in contention for the best Batman series right now. Read Full Review

Batman And Robin #4 goes a long way toward explaining what's happening and uncovering the puppetmasters behind the scenes, but this issue (and the series) lacks any wow moments, dramatic tension, or a reason to exist other than to flood LCS shelves with more Batman books. Read Full Review

All in all, this book is sober but is also fun, well-written, well-sequenced, and well-paced. I'm intrigued and look forward to see where the creative team takes it. Read Full Review

Ok this gets some free marks for the single page splash of Batman establishing dominance over the bats. Like its silver-age silliness but I loved it. White rabbit is a bit too strong in this iteration of her. The info drop by Damien at the end was kind of ridcilous but again plays to the more light hearted goofiness of the book. Art is better. I like this a bit more. Better faces. Also that slash page of them playing a game to catch white rabbit was great. Good use of bold colours.

Williamson's writing style appeals to a man's inner child. I guess if you were looking for this comic to enter a more serious tone, you would be disappointed by this but I'm glad this comic isn't high stakes. Between Gotham getting highjacked by high intelligence robots, fear toxins, mega corporations, etc, it's nice to see Robin and Batman take on low level villains. Still I thought Damian was older but if this means we get to see him and Flatline again, I'm all for it.

The art in the beginning of this issue is far superior than the rest. I wish the art like that throughout. I enjoyed this issue. I feel that it's getting better. It's finding it's footing especialy in light of the Gotham War fiasco. Having the instructor in the beginning be the principal is pushing the coincidence wall quite a bit and then her being Shush. I'm not feeling that villain. I wish they had just created a new mask and identiy for her. My Comics Channel - https://youtu.be/32U9JeZGZIU

I love the dynamic between Damian and Bruce, but there are some really corny things happening such as Man-Bat not dying because he was preserved in a cocoon due to all the formulas he's taken. Also making Man-Bat the "big bad" with Shush as his stooge, really make that character a chump and will be awful if she actually ends up being Damian's former teacher.
