But Why Tho? - William Tucker

    Nov 19, 2025

Titans Issue 29 forces the team to think. Scattered and stressed, the heroes don't have the family that they've always been able to fall back on. Read Full Review

    Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield

This title really seems to have taken a big level up with this DC KO tie-in, giving the Titans a huge-scale plot that shows them coming into their own as heroes and finally taking charge of the DCU like they started doing during Dark Crisis. The diversity in settings really gets across the massive scale of this disaster, as well, with great moments for just about every member of the current team. Read Full Review

Dark Knight News - James Attias

    Nov 19, 2025

The vibe I'm getting from this issue is that we're going to get an issue a piece of each team, Earth, Space and Beast Planet. With each team, sharing the spotlight as we go. That should hold the Titans over until this whole event is over. Apart from poor Cyborg of course, he'll be fighting in the tournament, but since we're a month in and we've yet to see one bloody fight Who knows maybe we won't see Cy fight at all. This issue shows us that Nightwing and Raven have taken their share of the refugees of earth and settled on Gemworld. Nice to see Amethyst again, and they raised a really interesting question: If you're evacuating an entire planet What happens to the villains? The answer of course is you help everyone, be they good, be they bad. But it sure does open a great number of thoughts and questions, and I'm still enjoying thinking about it. Read Full Review

Not quite as spectacular as the prior chapter, but still a fun and engaging read. The action shifts around to multiple locations, and adds a few new pieces to the game board. Excited to see how it all plays out!

I was very nervous at the start of the issue which continued the painfully boring discussions about all the considerations of moving the population, but Layman finally gets to some good beats with the threats the Titans will have to take on the protect the displaced people. Layman's done a good job on this series so really hoping he gets things back on track with the last issue just being a hiccup of a tie-in issue.
