The story develops further, still delightfully absurd if not exactly surprising. This book is a lot of fun, but there's a distinct "grab the first decent idea and call it a day" feeling. That even extends to the art--while there aren't any glaring flaws, the blocking is pedestrian and some visual corners are cut.

Fun but kind of meh.

We're losing steam. These antics can't get by on zaniness alone forever. The pieces of a compelling story are here, but they aren't being used to generate emotional stakes.
