  The Journey of the lone hero is always a lot of fun to experiment with. The adventure of being explored here is great fun. A lot of it actually has to do with the specific elements of action that are brought to the page by Silver Sable. She's a remarkably appealing character on a whole bunch of different levels and there's never really been truly deaf treatment of her in the many years that she's been around. Ahmed does a remarkably good job with her. It would be nice to see him explore her a little bit more in her own title. Read Full Review

  Wolverine #14 sets the table for where the series will go as we enter the new universe wide story arc. Although this issue is a little slower paced, it does a great job of setting up what is to come. This is fresh jump on point and should be a sure fire pick up this week and consider an addition to your Pull List. Read Full Review

  Wolverine is the best there is at what he does, and Wolverine is at his best when he is protecting and defending those who cannot fight for themselves. While Wolverine may want us to believe he is a loner who only watches out for himself, we know that he intentionally or unintentionally seeks out community and companionship, as he is consistently putting others before himself, which makes him an honorable, altruistic, and quintessential heroic character that speaks to his everlasting and constantly enduring appeal to countless decades of fans.   As I reconnected with the various X-books I was reading before the event, I've been wondering how many I'll stick with. The curiosity is how much has changed in those event books that I skipped, but it already looks like Wolverine is just going on as business as usual. Which is fine, it's a nice, if simpl,e book to engage with and enjoy some decent time with a favored character. I do wish it could be more, but it's hard to do that amid the structure Marvel currently employs with its shared universe that is most definitely feeling the weight of sixty years of storytelling. I'm mostly sticking around for more Alpha Flight since they're always my jam, but the lack of connectivity to the event really is surprising. Read Full Review

  Wolverine #14 is a good start, though feels a bit more like an arc in-between major arcs. It has potential as entertaining and there's some elements that could play out nicely. While it's not a flashy return of the series, it is a fun one. Read Full Review
